I'm so tired of hearing about this Marvel vs DC fan crap, it's been done to death already and the DCEU's only just started really kicking off this year. Boring.

re: Inception, I remember the first time I watched it I was personally reminded of Dark City. There are similarities with that but Inception pushed it further, and I'm sure this film will do the same. It starts off with something that looks similar but with it being used to illustrate the various realities and is obviously pushing it past what it was used for in Inception by quite a degree, just going by the trailers. Inception's an amazing film though, I really should rewatch it soon.

I also got an email about the Dr Strange footage being shown on the 11th, but I won't bother trying to get tickets. I'm not someone who likes to see things early like that, I prefer to stick to just a couple of trailers and not get too spoiled so I can experience it in the theatre as it's meant to be. The only reason I would've thought of going would be the poster since I love collecting those, but it's a bit meh, so I'll pass. I am looking forward to the (non-spoilery) reactions from people who do see it though.

Got my IMAX tickets booked for the only showing in IMAX that night - 8pm in Birmingham

(and the BF willingly agreed to come with me...its usually a chore to drag him to Marvel movies outside of Avengers or Guardians so for a new franchise character, this is a HUGE deal)

Dammit, I'm trying to stay away from watching new footage, but I just had to watch that backwards trailer above my post.

And I was just checking the Dr Strange page for my local cinema and the runtime is showing as 115 minutes now, which is around about the same as the two Thor films, Ant-Man, and TIH. If that turns out to be accurate.

The 15 minute preview thing is on today, no? Will be interesting to see what they show and what people think of it; I'm sure some people who come to this thread will watch it so I can't wait for your (non-spoilery) reviews.

And then I can't wait to watch the whole thing myself on the 26th in IMAX and hopefully I won't throw up.

In all honesty, that's what I'm a bit worried about with this, just from the trailer they showed before Suicide Squad I felt iffy, so them previewing so much in IMAX now will be a test to see if anyone does end up losing their lunch.
