I'm just lazy and cheap. I have ever chance to wash the car and/or take it to a car wash but I just don't. We even have a car wash service here at work but I never take advantage of it.

Thanks, it's a lot of work. Having 2 people makes it go by faster. It was a 4 hour job.

There are pro detailers here in the Bay Area who take 12 hours or more.

One of these days I'll restore a 280ZX. My first car was a 1981 280ZX. It was old at the time, but there's a special place in my heart for those cars (and all Z cars, really). I love the new 370Z.

Layd Dly, that is a beautiful car. Is that the 2.0T or the 3.2 V6? Either is awesome. Just curious. Oh, and a brick driveway...very nice. The only thing wrong with that pic is that Dodge. or is it a jeep?

Quick questions for the Brits, or anyone else that would know...

Is the shifter on a standard 5-spd transmission set up the same there as here?

Something like

1 3 5

| |
2 4

With reverse either being next to the four, or to the left of 1?

If so, that seems like it'd be really weird (pushing away from you for the low gears). Just something I was wondering earlier.

Looks like a Jeep Patriot in either Sunburst Orange or Inferno Red Crystal.

i'm looking to get a cheaper payment, so i'm probably going to trade my a4 in for a wrx. found a 2004 with 88k miles on it for a decent price

anything i should know about that you guys are aware of? i'm trying to stay with awd, so the wrx is the next best thing to a car with quatro that i can think of

If the WRX is a 5-Speed MT, the clutch is VERY stiff. You'll have a work out. That's my experience driving my friends car a few times.
