"Once you overcome the one-inch tall barrier of subtitles, you'll be introduced to so many more amazing films" - Bong Joon-Ho, Director, "Parasite".

I’m thinking maybe even as soon as next semester and well beyond, Parasite will be included on the film course syllabus of more than one teaching institution here in the U.S., for example -

MDST 2810 Cinema as an Art Form (3 credits) Cross-listed with DRAM 2810
This course also includes mandatory screening section. A course in visual thinking; introduces film criticism, concentrating on classic and current American and non-American films.

And other parts of the world.

That guys a pro. Didn't spill a drop. I tip my hat to him. Almost as legendary as my all time favorite Olympic athlete.

Seems that the new Samsung Galaxy S20 line shoots both 8k/24p, 4k/60p, and HDR10+ video.

HDR10+ RECORDING

Color and contrast stays accurate in each scene with HDR10+ and Dynamic Tone Mapping.

HDR10+ recording is currently in beta and only available on the rear camera. Quality may vary based on sharing platform and playback environment; HDR10+ color is only available on supported devices or platforms.
Oh, and the Z Flip also does 4k/60p HDR10+

Tried the 10+ on my S10+ just now.
It looks great and correctly plays in 10+ on my tv.

Fox just had the dog show in HDR. Did you catch any of it? I missed it both nights.

My wife and I are longtime different breed (including mixed) big and small dog lovers (and cats ), especially inspired by stories like this -
https://abcnews.go.com/US/woman-reun...ry?id=68718316

So, I recorded each evening at least in SDR, but have yet to watch. We’re saving it for this weekend. Some content really excites me viscerally by personally having lived/experienced it…..certainly not nearly at the same level as the Oscar nominated/winning movie and being of a different type of motorsport racing, but racing being racing, the crossover is still there to get my heart pumping rapidly as compared to other movies I can’t personally identify with to the same degree.

I think one can guess from the picture of my man cave which feature film from this past Oscar season I held deepest to my heart - https://forum.blu-ray.com/showthread...s#post16975794

And the poster-sized pics adjacent to the wall-mounted speaker are of a German Shepherd rescue mix who was a cherished member of our family, so German Shepherds are one breed I root for every year but they don’t seem to win very often…..likewise for poms who enjoy photobombing - https://forum.blu-ray.com/showthread...n#post16069229
