Great will definitely get this if there is something new on the release.

This has GOT to be a redone transfer, the current edition is one of Warner's early ****-ups with half the horizontal resolution that it should have, causing some nasty jaggies. Lossless audio is a given, though it'll be the same 5.1 mix as before.

I am hoping for a new transfer with audio upgrade, the first edition was release in the early days of blu-ray so here is hoping that WB can really do this film justice with an reissue.

It'd be awesome if they cleared up the confusion surrounding Bolo's death. I've heard various reports of cut footage involving a killer blow dealt by Roper, and, regardless of which version one believes, it's clear that some weird editing has gone on with that scene.

I'll never take my eyes off this thread, even when I bow. Hoping for something spectacular on this release. This movie deserves it.

I will gladly double dip if it is remastered. Otherwise, no deal.

Well, according to an "insider" (many Bruce Lee fans will know who), apparently John Little is overseeing this release... that being said, we'll obviously be getting at least the 25th anniversary cut, since he dubbed Lee's voice for the monk scene. While it would've been awesome to have Bey Logan do the commentary, it looks like we'll either have to settle for John Little to do one, or be stuck with the same 15 year old (by then) God-awful Paul Heller track.

Also, Warner Brothers would be smart to finally release some deleted scenes. Hell, you can see a few of them in Tower of Death! Even Warrior's Journey had an alternate take/angle of Lee telling Oharra to wait outside, as he was holding his right leg out.

Also:

* The cut extended dialogue between Lee and Betty Chung
* The extended scene of Chung freeing Han's captives
* The scenes revealing Lee's character having authored a book
* Bolo's death scene uncut
* More tournament footage (like the scene with the two men fighting with the Bo Staff... Must be longer..)
* The cut scene of Lee fighting a guard before he sees the German Shepherd
* The cut scene where apparently Lee was slashed across the leg by Han

and finally, the Henry Wong behind the scenes footage that Raymond Chow received from WB right after Bruce died and before the film opened.

a cool deleted scene of Bruce during his masterful workout before Han walks in on him and Bruce tells him "outside".... that would be the best deleted scene ever if there were more to that part of the film!! We had to post the scene below lol.

If it's a new transfer, I'll get it since I don't have the old one yet. Knowing how WB is with just repackaging everything and throwing out there to try and milk that cow one more time, I'm not holding out much hope.

This movie deserves a proper release. Hell, I would love to see a Criterion version of this movie. ( A man can dream)

I think this will be a quadruple dip for me if they do it with a nice transfer and new audio. Vhs, Dvd and blu so far. I'm done thinking I won't ever buy another version of this great movie.

I caved and bought the older blu-ray used for about $5 at a pawn shop a while back... I pretty much figured an updated release was coming, but I figured that was cheap enough to not regret buying it
