Penton-Man Retired Hollywood Insider Member since:Apr 2007	No anamorphic (pro or con) discussion on the sister digital 4K thread? I think it needs at least a little attention. Little known (or advertised nugget), if you shoot EG Red Epic anamorphic, then it’s only about 3.6K across and really not true 4K (as if that makes a difference to anyone but pixel counters)…not to mention the fact that it’s a Bayer sensor so you’re really not achieving much more than about 3K as an effective resolution on the horizontal.
