US rights are with Criterion, they will release it at some point. I will get the Arrow release for better packaging and likely an overall better transfer with encoding from FiM.

I don't think it'll have better packaging though. Getting a normal slipcase instead of their nice premium slip boxes. Just like Children of the Corn. I do not understand the decision at all.

The Criterion didn't even have a slipcover, so the Arrow version will still have better packaging and artwork.

If Criterion were to release this in 4K in the US, should we expect the same exact packaging as the current 1080p blu?

Also on this new Arrow 4K, would that little red circle with the 18 permanently be on the lower right front slipcover (vs being a stcker or something)?

The existing Arrow Blu-ray looks great so hoping this 4K can be just that tiny bit better. Just a tiny taste... you won't need much!

I don’t mind upgrading any of their LEs to 4K but producing identikit sets is more than a bit piss-takey so yeah, this is most welcome.

I never ended up grabbing the remastered limited edition BD, and the Criterion BD is hot garbage.

Definitely grabbing this. More Gilliam on 4K!

So it seems they didn't carry over all of the content from the previous remastered LE. That's unfortunate. Hopefully the specs aren't final and will be updated.

They clearly want collectors to have as many copies as possible haha

I have the Criterion DVD set cause it has that cool clear slipcase
And the Criterion BLU and the Arrow UK BLU and now the Arrow 4K
