Your kidding, right? The Witch King was a mortal man who possesed one of the Rings of Power. Eru Ilúvatar is the almighty God and creator in the Middle Earth mythology. If you read in the Appendices after RoTK, when the Numenoreans rebelled against the Ban of the Valar and tried to sail to the Undying Lands, the Valar laid down their guardianship of Valinor and appealed to Eru. Eru destroyed Numenor and sank it into the ocean.

Thanks for posting those, Duffy. The fact that so much work has been invested in the Hobbiton location gives me hope that the film will soon be made. I think you are right about photo #5 being Bag End.

Duffy12, nice info on the previous page. Blomkamp would be a great choice. It would also be one hell of a way to 'test' him (to put that lightly lol) for his 2nd directorial effort.
I still can't believe Sam Raimi's name was thrown around after Del Toro left. It's also funny how Raimi and Jackson made some really wacky (good) movies when they were younger, then after they got 'big'...they got boring. Raimi's Spider-Man movies were ehhhh (sorry fanboys) and Jackson's King Kong was a boring mess. So, the moral of the story is.....go for the young, fresher director! |

After taking a crap like that, a courtesy-flush would be appropriate. ![]() Quote:

I still think it's an outstanding movie in every way. |
