There seems to have been another earthquake in NZ. Anyone know if it's affecting the movie?

According to this map I found on the filming locations of LOTR, they didn't do any filming anywhere near Christchurch.

Holy sheep dip! Either he was already drunk, and it hadn't quite hit him yet, or Mr. Bean (the real Mr. Bean) is tough as nails.

As much as I would like to say Galadriel, she was only an elf. True she had one of the Elven Rings of Power, but it wasn't power like the Witch-King had. She used her power to create the beauty and timelessness of Lorien. Still who knows? Maybe if she used her considerable will in using her ring...

Then again she was not a man, and Eowyn and Merry brought him down.

No doubt if she had taken the One Ring from Frodo, The Witch-King would have not stood a chance.

That would have been an interesting confrontation. It was partly because of the power of the Elven ring that Lothlorien withstood the three attacks from Dol Guldur at the same time the Witch King attacked Minas Tirith. I recall Tolkien mentioning ("Letters"?) that only the personal presence of Sauron would have allowed those attacks to succeed. But if it was one-on-one, my guess is that the Witch King would have prevailed over Galadriel. If my hunch is correct, we may get to see results of the influence of the (three) combined Elven-rings at Dol Guldur in The Hobbit movie.
