I've been trying to steer clear of all of the new info about 'The Hobbit', but I couldn't resist watching that trailer. Parts of it had me thinking: Oh no, "Hollywood production", but I have to admit, it gave me chills up and down my spine. The solemn Dwarvish song reminds me of the song Aragorn sings at his coronation, about the Numenorians first arriving on the shores of Middle-earth. I loved the quick shot of the Dwarves putting away the plates at Bag End.

I didn't really dig the trailer per sé (it didn't flow at all) but I did like the visuals and the song the Dwarves were singing.

It's a nice trailer but I'm disappointed to see Galadriel has been brought into this one. She was my least favorite character from the trilogy. Hopefully the CG for Gollum has improved

I don't know why everyone is clamoring over the trailer. There is nothing great or epic about it at all. I'm excited about the movie itself and I'm sure it will be epic, but the trailer sure as hell doesn't show it yet.
I really shouldn't add to all the DKR comparisons going on, as its really quite stupid, but the Batman trailer was ten times better.

Eh, I prefer trailers without shoddy CG implemented in a football stadium. I understand the comparisons - it's only natural to compare trailers for two of the biggest movies of 2012.

Well, that made my day. It was nice to see Bag End, Rivendell, and Ian McKellen again, and I liked the dwarf song. So far, so good!
