I hope then we get a good EE when the time comes. 20, 25 minutes to reach a 3 hour run time so that way at least the EEs of each film reaches a good 3 hour length.

Hopefully they are like the LOTR EE and get longer with each one.

I will admit, as someone who really disliked the first Hobbit film the second one looks much better, will have to try to catch it in theatres.

I still don't get why so many people didn't like the hobbit. Had the exact same vibe and flow of the trilogy. Yes it had a slow start, so did fellowship. My only complaint was lamer looking orcs/creatures compared to the trilogy who used make up/prosthetics which is superior in my opinion. Loved the hobbit and can't wait for this.

It was a cool event, but really short. They talked for a bit, hardly took questions, and showed a vlog, and the trailer, and that was it.

The trailer looks real Christmasy to me. Almost zero tension, still no dragon shots.
