Horrible atmosphere at our ground. I fear poyet's days are numbered if we don't beat Burnley. Asking for patience from the fans is a piss take when we have been patient for the last 40 years. The disconnect he speaks of is directly the result of a team lacking in passion, commitment and drive. Not to mention the excruciatingly annoying habit of constantly passing back to the keeper. Only Defoe looks like he has the ability to get us out of this mess (maybe Johnson if he stays fit)

Were you at the match yesterday steedeel because i saw the highlights and Defoe was unlucky not to score.

I was Tob. Defoe played well but he had a complete lack of service. Like I said, we are pinning all our hopes on him.

The atmosphere was quite nasty second half and we are getting restless.

But where is the money every season for a club like Sunderland the impression they give to everyone is that if we can stay in the premier league we are happy.
I have not seen any change under Poyet but who do you blame the manager or the board because you don't seem to be moving forward as a club.

Both to be honest. First of all, Rodwell, was a huge mistake at 10 million.

Secondly, poyet is clueless as to what system to play. We are so negative it is not even funny. I wish I knew what the problem was in terms of personnel. Ellis short has certainly invested major money but unless a rich oil baron takes over we never push on. We are a working class, industrial (well we were before the conservative party crushed us) city and not 'fashionable' enough to attract the 'let's buy the league' mob. Our fans are champions league standard and it never ceases to amaze me that 40 odd thousand attend knowing the crap that is going to be served up.
