Arsenal, Liverpool, Man U, Newcastle, Man city, Chelsea. Easily the worst home fixtures I can remember in my lifetime.

He is a good young player Gnarby another good find by Wenger to bring him from Stuggart last season.

Yes, very solid. Looking good for Champions league spot at least. Maybe more?

New manager. Bally is loved here but he has no top flight manager experience. We need a Houdini, as 1 point from six games with Man U, Chelsea and Man City at home to come, spells relegation by early Feb unless we can start winning away from home.

I agree but I can't understand why a club like sunderland with a big stadium and fanbase with good income can't find the right manager to give the club some stability and a good style of football.

This is the mystery every SAFC fan wants to know. Something is fundamentally wrong. Season after season of struggling. Personally, I would of went for Martinez. He likes teams he manages to play football the right way. He also kept Wigan up for many years despite limited funds and poor support. Doing good job at Everton as well.

He is doing a good job and everton are still unbeaten, i think if sunderland can get someone like Roberto di matteo he will make a difference.

It's a shame about your poor start. Did your club have some major player turnovers in the off-season or something? You guys were pretty decent last year. This is a drastic about face from that.

On a side note, Man City is getting pounded by my Bayern 3-0 so far in today's CL showdown. Someone is about to get fired from their job real soon if their team keeps playing like this.

We let our best players leave. Mignolet, Sessegnon and Danny Rose (he was loan but we should have signed him). We then brought 14 players, some of which were youngsters for the future. The others haven't really had much of a chance except Altidore and Giaccherini. Altidore is yet to score in league while Giaccherini has impressed in part but needs to find consistency. Di canio would drop players for no good reasoning IMO. Different centre half every match, baffling tactics, at least in my opinion.

Steedeel it was a good performance by sunderland in the first half but in the second half they were deep in their own half and man.united were poor again it was januzaj who got them out of trouble.
