I expected us (United) to come in 7th or 8th this season, no trophies. But to actually see it happen.... damn.
Haha, good job Steedeel.
One has to laugh.

Yeah I don't think too many Utd fans expected us to win the league this year,I certainly didn't but I also didn't think we would find it so tough,

I don't think we will make a Champions League spot and that had almost become inconceivable,£250 million reported to have come off the share prices, that must be scaring the crap out of the Glazer's.

What will that mean next season, the need to sign world class players when there won't be the same income and no Champions League football.

I have had a joke about Wembley but I am far from convinced we will get there. I still expect Man U to turn us over in second leg. As soon as my football club gets a sniff of success we blow it. Looking on the bright side, we are not West Ham!

I hope your right but I can't see it as City,Chelsea and Arsenal will finish in the top three in some shape or form so that leaves us fighting for the last spot with Everton,Liverpool or whoever else,I think we will fall short of it.

I think you will get 4th spot at Liverpool's expense.

I also can't see past City now (sorry Tob) to have Bendtner as sub striker is not good enough and like I said several months ago, I still feel Arsenal are a couple of major players short of possible title success.

My final 4

M city
Arsenal
Chelsea
Man U

That right now would have to be classed as a good season.

I would certainly take that steedeel you's might get to Wembley(though I do fancy us in the second leg)and remain in the PL!!!(which I have always said I thought would be the case)...that for Sunderland right now would be a good enough season.

Lol, by the way we ain't staying in the premier league but we do have the right manager to take us back up. First ten games sealed our fate. Di canio's reign got us 1 point from 8 games. Nearly a quarter of the season, that's what did the damage. Poyet has somehow managed to keep us in touch but we shoot ourselves in foot every time we have chance of getting out of relegation zone. We will blow it against Fullham on Saturday as well. Six pointer but so was Norwich, villa etc..

But it is only January and Sunderland are four points behind safety, come on,that is reachable at this stage of the season,I see were your pessimistic attitude is coming from but you's can still remain in the league.

I would near go as far as tenth and say Hull still may fall into it so all is certainly not lost at this stage, the Norwich game I thought,Sunderland have to win those games but teams around you's will lose and draw games also,I still think it is too close to say who will be down.

Put it this way,I would put money on the relegation battle being shown on TV the last day as the league will be over by then and my guess is there will be a few teams fighting for survival that day.

Hello all, big football/soccer fan here. Man U is my team and I'll have to say that this is a trying season but not unexpected. I think Moyes is an excellent coach and, if given time (at least 2 years), will be able to turn it around.

Fantastic Tob. Now we find ourselves in that situation again where we have the chance to climb out of the bottom three. We have blown it several times at home so our next game against the Saints is massive. We need at least 4 points from next two home games as we are away to you guys and Man City after that. Can we start believing again?
