They have to win on Sun so he will start with a striker unlike when they went to OT....he had that Utd team confused with a Fergie side because nearly every team after them got a result at Old Trafford.

0-0 is a good result for us because he might rest some players for second leg.

Hazard didn't make the squad tonight so he might be out Sunday.

The plastic flags be out in full force for the 2nd leg.

Yeah he might well do as well as not risk those that came off injured,a Chelsea team without Cech and Terry would be a good start.

Torres with the winner is my hope.

Looking forward to seeing Giggsy taking charge tomorrow,proud moment for a legend.

My only concern is I expect a reaction from the Utd players,one that may end up putting us in the Europa league.......I am sure that there has been a discussion internally about how Utd want to deal with that.

Well, it all comes down to tomorrow. Results went our way and now, for the first time this season at home, we need to stand up and be counted against fellow strugglers. All the talk of must wins for the last few months comes down to this. We are united, red and white as one, marching to our destiny. The absolute theatre of the season closing on a knife edge as we gaze into the abyss. Our toes gripping the edge and our souls daring to dream that we will ascend to the sky in the blissful paradise that is survival. Let hope be our blanket and happiness our pillow as we lay before the altar.

Utd appear to have at least agreed in principle a deal with van Gaal.
I would safely assume that will mean van Persie will be staying,that brings us back to the Mata issue.

I never doubted that result today steedeel,the win anyway,not necessarily the score but I did always say you's had a chance.

The Man City game showed commitment,your season changed from there and your team is better than the likes of Cardiff or Norwich who I think both will now see the Championship.
