Think he is more suited to a lower tempo like Spain and Italy gets bullied off the ball but u suppose he needs time to adjust but for that sort of money you want him to hit the ground running.

I think he was surprised that there was no winter break in the premier league and how the pace in the english game is very fast but he will learn from that.
Do you think rodgers will bring in many players this summer.

Poyet hands down mate.
I agree it isn't pretty to watch, but you've got to admire the bloke for what he does: Just like at Stoke, he utilised what he had at his disposal to get the best out of his squad, and he's far surpassed his goals of keeping them in the league. Amazing finish for a newly promoted side. I'm sure if he had Kompany, Yaya Toure, Silva, Aguero and Dzeko et al in his squad he wouldn't be parking the bus that much.

Poyet's kept us up with some style, but had a squad of mostly established Premier league players at his disposal, so if I take my red and white specs off I think Pulis pips him to the post in my humble opinion.

Couple of hacks on twitter have confirmed its Pulis.

Oliver Kay ‏@OliverKayTimes 23m
Confirmed: Tony Pulis is Premier League manager of the year (voted for by LMA, ie fellow managers)

The greatest escape the premier league has known and they don't give it to Poyet. That is laughable. However, hardly surprising, they hate Sunderland. They will be giving it to Allardyce next, the bunch of (IMO) jokers!

Nah. Bottom of the table, 7 points adrift, 6 games to play- a point away at the eventual champions (very nearly 3), breaking Mourinho's 77 game unbeaten record at Stamford Bridge, beating Man Utd at OT fair and square, and thrashing our closest rivals 4-0 says otherwise. (imo)

There has been one other team who were bottom at Christmas, that was West Brom. Their situation wasn't as bad as ours. Trust me, it's the greatest escape.

Yeah he wasn't treated with any respect,I'm not sure deep down he really thought he would be there after the end of the season.

Yeah Levy is a clown, what didn't help was spending the Bale money on....well a load of half wits.

What’s the word on Suarez? Will he be staying with Liverpool if someone like Real Madrid comes around to poach him?

David might think differently but I would be amazed if he left Liverpool considering they have just cemented their place in the Champions League. No trophy next season though and things could change. He literally would have his pick of clubs to join.

Suarez does seem to love it at Liverpool(in saying that so did Torres)I mean he could have left before now and he hadn't played in the Champions League up to now but Madrid may be a once in a life time chance and I wonder if they do come in with a serious offer will he go.

Well, as an Arsenal supporter, I do have an ulterior motive . Real Madrid sells Benzema to Wenger and Real buys Suarez in turn to fill the loss.

We’d have a shot at actually becoming a serious contender for the Prem crown next year.

Why not,I mean Arsenal are crying out for a quality striker and Benzema is certainly in that category.
I guess it comes down to how much Madrid want Suarez ....how much would they have to pay?

Arsenal really have to spend this summer if they want to compete for the championship,if they don't they may well just find themselves out of the top four.
I think they could do with two strikers never mind one.

I agree but i just hope wenger gets rid of the deadwood at the club first like Bendtner and Diaby for example.

I would be very happy if we got Benzema.
