The Old Dog Fergie was the only one who had a Magic Wand round those parts.
The players who played under him and the current dutch team all like working with him wes and i say he make a big difference to united next season.

National Team is a different thing all together mate.

He's only got Van Persie and Buttner as fellow countrymen there.

Personally I think there is a lot of risk with this appointment.

Yeah I expected that once he was confirmed as assistant manager.

What a player, great servant to the club and almost perfect in how he conducted himself off the field.

"That" FA Cup semi final goal against Arsenal that really did push us on to complete a historic treble is one of my favourite moments as a Utd fan.

Last season was the only one that he never scored in but I really do hope he becomes a successful manager and hopefully will end up with the managers job at OT.

Giggs you are a legend! we love ya!

He was a great player and showed loyalty to one club which you won't see any more in the modern game.
I don't remember that f.a cup semi final goal villiam.

I did say virtually all in Holland...not everything.

Little reality check here...that club will never see the success it's had for the last 2 decades ever again, mark my words.

Ferguson was and will always be irreplaceable, Moyes lasting months in the job has proved that.

They can put whoever they want in the hot seat...past successes won't ever be repeated like that again.

We have won the league more times than them.
We were the last team to win a major trophy
We were at wembley this year.
We have embarrassed them for the last two seasons derby wise
We don't punch harmless beautiful horses
We don't show ourselves up every time we are on tv being interviewed
We are just a classier lot

They have more investment in their city and hence better pubs, nightclubs and shops/resteraunts. That is the only thing they have over us.

Oh and thy smash their own city up when they lose a derby!

So, I think you are talking rubbish mate. (Unless you are on a wind up? )

It's funny that Newcastle's biggest game of the season was our cup final. Says it all really.

Well my point was that his achievements outside of The Netherlands shouldn't be forgotten as he has won numerous trophies with those two massive European giants.

If you want to nit pick then I think he has won six trophies at home and five elsewhere, hardly "virtually all"

We may not see the same success,we had arguably the best manager ever who was at the club for a very long time,I think Guardiola or Mourhino could win lots of trophies with any club they stayed at for twenty years.

Utd are set up very well, even with the debt, they are a different club from the one Fergie took over so there is a lot in place to try and make sure the good times aren't that far away.

Moyes was simply the wrong choice,I said that from the start,a man who had won nothing and had done respectable jobs at PNE and Everton,to me the jump was too big and he should never have been considered.

Had say Mourhino or even Fergie been in charge last season I bet Utd would have been in the Champions League at the very least.
