I'm happy for the win today, though I'm still not satisfied with the way we're playing. Too often we look disjointed on offense, and even basic passes become a chore to complete. At least we're somewhat rounding into form, as we're now unbeaten in five straight.
Also happy for Lukaku scoring that first goal, he really needed this one. Hopefully it'll get him going now for the upcoming matches.
Next up Wolfsburg in the Europe League. Go Toffees!!!!

Then when he realises it isn't working makes a bunch of substitutions with no thought behind them at all. Leicester had at least four goals on a plate and didn't do a single thing with any of them.

It didn't help that the referee couldn't tell his arse from his elbow, light touches getting yellows while undeniable reds get nothing, obvious penalties waved away and those who get fouled end up with the cards. Bullshit. Sunderland deserved to have at least two players sent off but it appeared the ref was watching the Man City game instead.
I'm reasonably happy with the draw although you guys were there for the taking. We need to be more clinical and turn possession into goals. We had 60 percent of the match away from home and created some good chances. I have to be honest Pizzamorg, Leicester didn't impress me. I saw plenty of work rate but very little quality. I like you guys and hope you stay up but it's going to be a slog.
As for the talking points, the penalty shout was very weak. The lad went down far too easy and there was very little contact. Cattermole was lucky however. Maybe should have been off. We have had some shockers from refs so far this season so we were due a couple to go our way.

Yeah I don't really know what Leicester were doing, they kept on constant pressure and a high work rate which stopped you getting in the game for long stretches but when it came to actually doing something other than passing the ball - whether it defensive or offensive - they just crumbled. It's funny because for so much of the game Sunderland weren't able to touch the ball, yet we played so poorly you still managed to get the best goal striking changes regardless.

Whenever you did get the ball, you made so many mistakes - your attack may have far outclassed ours, but other than your keeper our defence was by far the winner - which any half decent side would have exploited you for for every drop but we somehow did nothing with any of them. It was really frustrating because Vardy and Ulloa used similar mistakes against United to make so many goals, why couldn't they do it again? Urgh.

Larsson deserved to be off too, but for whatever reason the ref seemed happier giving yellows for mistakes and light touches than actual cynical lashes out by players already in the book, abysmal.

60 percent possession suggests we were able to touch the ball lol! We controlled the first half man! .

You weren't even in the game for the first half an hour but I think Leicester were too quick off the gun because it seemed they utterly burnt themselves out trying to keep you off the ball during that half an hour as after that - save for a few moments of brilliance from our midfield - it seemed like we were running around like a bunch of headless chickens.

In the end, because we allowed you guys to conserve your energy for so long, whenever you guys went on the counter attack we were hopeless. Sunderland definitely looked the better side in the second half which is why I get a little more pleased with the clean sheet and the one point the more I cool off from the terrible refereeing going shamelessly in Sunderland's favour at practically every decision.

I don't think we deserved three points but we definitely deserved to come away with something and that something got us out of the bottom three for now. Hope we get more help from QPR.

I'm struggling to remember the last time I enjoyed being a Leicester fan. Working in a call centre in the Midlands where everyone supports Man United, Liverpool or Everton only stresses to me how important it is to support where you come from but sadly I'm guessing they are the ones having the last laugh as Leicester have had barely a positive in two months, almost three. Leicester may have scored three of the five goals today but I took more positives from the Sunderland game, at least we held a clean sheet and got out of the bottom three (momentarily) after that, but what am I meant to take away from this game against QPR?

An early lead disintegrated after our shambolic spasm of a defence gave QPR the equaliser with a pathetic own goal that no experienced defender and team captain should be doing. Any goals gleamed weren't due to our skill or precision, not even because of an eye for chances but more because Leicester played like an epileptic fit as they flung balls wildly into the pen until one eventually went in - I must also stress those goals were from Schlupp (a left back) and Cambiasso (an ancient midfielder) while once hopeful Ulloa sludged in dead space again unable to connect with the team in any meaningful way (and is then taken off for Nugent, which I suppose served him right but I don't even need to stress that once again Nugent put in a non performance).

Vardy got a lot of praise but I feel the praise is a little overcooked because what does Vardy actually do? Yes he runs around a lot but how often does he convert all the teararsing into actual chances or goals? Tearing a hole in the pitch is irrelevant if it's actually not building to anything, every now and then he puts his pace into breaking down the opposing team but due to Ulloa's size his contributions when he decides to pull back and help the defence are usually far more fruitful.

Come Jan we need more Cambiasso's. We need experienced defenders and players with the respect and voice who can reign in Leicester and give us some much needed discipline. Watching Leicester race around with seemingly no actual game plan, tactics or even much of a formation is nothing short of infuriating, imagine how fruitful a squad we might be if we channelled all that energy into actual football.

Yeah, bad bad loss mate. Will watch on MOTD but it isn't looking good.

Delighted with point against Chelsea, Cattermole was superb as was most of the team. Fantastic spirit and I am Very proud of that performance. Next Man City and we always beat them!

Pearson out, Pulis in.

Also cracking result Steedeel, especially in a season this tight every point really counts.

Good point Steedeel costa was lucky not to get a sending off with his kick at o'shea and his hand hitting Brown in the face.
Welbeck did well today but it was a good run from carzola and good finish from welbeck.

Another game where Leicester deserved everything and came away with nothing, I know we paid a record signing for Ulloa but we seriously need some better quality up front. We make so many beautiful chances,we play such wonderful football - certainly better than thuggish Liverpool who barely passed or barely made chances and just chose to spend the game diving and fouling - but we just can't finish. Pearson has really clung to his Championship squad and I think in January if he even plans to stay up he should start flashing the cash and really start populating the squad with Premiership quality players.

I better keep quiet about Pool as some people (imo) get very touchy when fair criticism is handed out about them. All I will say is bad luck mate.

Man City for us tonight, would take a draw right now! Lol

I'm actually really surprised by the table, looking at it. I knew it was tight but I thought Chelsea were up, up and away. Last I looked at the top of the table I swear City were in fourth or fifth but now they are second and closing fast on Chelsea. It must be a very exciting season for those up there.
