I love Pearson as he got us where he got us today but I think his reaction to pressure is shocking. We're all human but with football, especially as Prem manager, you're on a worldwide stage - spitting acid at fans and strangling players is not really what you want to be doing behind closed doors, let alone on a tele broadcast. Adding that into his abysmal squad selections and it's beggars belief.
I understand that watching the TV and pretending to be a manager is juvenile and I'm sure as a professional manager his decisions are thought out and he has a plan but whatever that plan is - it isn't working. He over relies on a championship side who have not adapted to the Prem. Vardy, Nugent, Morgan etc were all key players last season but have not performed at this level and yet even this late in the season he chooses them over under utilised players who have performed far better in limited appearances. He bothered to sign Prem level talent like Albrighton and yet never starts him, despite Albrighton's undeniably positive impact every time he brings him on. I want a manager who can see the talent of our squad as Pearson doesn't appear to be able to and maybe start making more immediate plans that the audience can comprehend as well because right now I haven't a clue what Pearson is doing and can only assume he has some convoluted long ball plan that only he really understands - and it's too late for that kind of game plan. |

The best signing he did bring in was Cambiasso who is a class player and stands out in the team. |

Now I've cooled off from yesterday...
Pearson needs to go. That is it, the answer to our problems. Pellegrini doesn't play favourites, he plays value for money. His leaving flagging Kompany on the bench was a slap in the face for Leicester, who have allowed Morgan to hold onto his armband for practically the entire season despite being one of the worst players in our squad. We have lots of great defensive options and right now he is just taking up room. Favouritism over tactics has been one of Pearson's greatest weaknesses so far and I attribute that as a major influence in our current situation. Likewise, while Kramaric has got good credentials, he's brand new to Leicester and the Premier League so the fact we play him out on his own at the front is beyond baffling. Even more baffling though is just as he seemed to be getting in a healthy rhythm against City Pearson took him off - although that was just one of hundreds of baffling substitutions both in game and throughout the season. |

I think it's less the pitch invasion - emotions are running high for Villa right now - but more the actual actions of what was done during it. One of those chairs chucked by the West Brom supporters could have killed someone and who goes onto the pitch to greet their heroes and start biting them and stealing their clothes?

I think the F.A will fine Villa for this but they should understand why they had to celebrate too as they waited a long time for something good for their club. |
