I'm betting Newcastle are kicking themselves now, if it was up to them they'd be relegated with the way they are performing, instead they might just stay up on the back of Hull's trouble in front of goal.

I can't stand Carver, either, I know the Premier League is full of egos and bad attitude - look at some of Pearson's outbursts to use a personal example - but Carver is an arrogant, pompous baboon that seriously needs media training.

There's nothing wrong with being a Palace fan any year. I was responding to Pizzamorg who's already lumped us in with the "boring" mid-table sides (including your mob, coincidentally) who have nothing to play for even though this is only Palace's second successive season in the Premier League.

Hell, if we get through November/December without sacking the manager and stay up then I'll happily accept the "boring" tag. But not yet.

The only two teams they are likely to beat are Burnley and West Ham. what a stroke of luck!

True but West Ham seem to have absolutely nothing at the moment. In terms of poor teams, it is clash of the shitans!

Only got back from the match late last night great send off for Gerrard but i think Rodgers is on his last legs. Signings have been awful Lovren isn't a Liverpool player can't believe we paid 20M for that rubbish.

Fair play to Palace played very well and hit us on the break many times even if the Zaha goal was offside and the pen was outside the box.

Less said about Balotelli the lad has talent but it's another manager who can't get the best out of him.

We will fall back against next year just can't compete with Chelsea City and United financially.

Replaced a world class player in Suarez with rubbish. I'm hoping next year we play the kids in Europa League that competition needs to be looked at next year maybe just do one group stage and the next round as a knock out.

I'd happily take Rafa back, Rodgers has had 3 seasons and we still don't know what his favourite formation is

I bet you are excited for the summer now? All the transfer rumours etc..
Should be interesting. Who do you think would suit your team?

We were better in the second half and United in the last 20 mins or more could not get out of their half and if Walcott came on sooner i think he would have caused the United defence more problems.

Well in the summer last year Pearson and the gang were linked with all sorts of players I'd never heard of but turned us down I guess because a lack of established top flight status at the time (we've always been a bit of a yoyo), I'll be interested to see if any of those deals come back to light again now. I know we have had players that misfired a little, like Kramaric, but for me the unknowns are more exciting than seeing established players try and fit with your club and failing like it so often happens.

Would like to see Huth signed permanently though, it was a bit of a weird loan choice at the time but now I couldn't imagine our back without him. Likewise I hope players like Wasilewski and Cambiasso don't decide to retire, Morgan can though, thanks.

Cambiasso was a huge signing. You and I said that when they got his signature. Class act and I bet he had a lot of influence on some of the younger players.
I think you guys need some class upfront to go with Vardy's work rate and enthusiasm. Not easy to find though.

We are linked to that Jap international striker again, I think, this is the third time Pearson has tried to sign him. It feels especially desperate now though perhaps as there are already rumours floating around that players like Mahrez and Vardy may be tempted away from the club and while the rumoured offers in "Football Money" are tiny, the money made from the great escape plus the potential of making about fifteen million off the two players who may well want to leave regardless is probably gonna be hard to argue with for Pearson and the gang and so we'll need more quality up front.

I know. I haven't enjoyed this one. At least last year we had a cup final. Having said that, we beat the barcodes AGAIN!
