I've seen worst things on a football pitch karate kicking a supporter is one and going out to end someone career like what Keane did to Alf-Inge Haaland is another

Can't defend Suarez for what he did , as a footballer of course he is a hero to the fans he is in the top 5 players in world football , no Arsenal player would lace his boots !

I was expecting the Henry episode as a proud Irishman I was shocked that he and France got through with what he did and it still hurts.
But that was in football what suarez did was bite someone that becomes a assault and is no longer a football issue but a police issue which some fans after yesterday's match made a complaint to the police who spoke to ivanovic to ask him did he want to press charges but he did not want to.
Robert pires and Patrick Vieira are again football issues.

Tob, other than the obvious stain on the spirit of Premier League football (I think Liverpool should get rid of him based on this and past misbehaviors throughout his career) I confess the whole episode is at least a little amusing to me because I think no real physical harm was done other than maybe Ivanovic requiring a tetanus and/or hepatitis shot…or given past history of Suarez’s behavior, perhaps a series of rabies shots.

I say this because I missed the match itself and just saw the highlights or *bitelight* of the match after which the FOX commentator mentioned that this is Suarez’s 2nd biting offense in professional soccer.

I mean, WTF, is this some perverse adult manifestation of him not having being breast fed enough as a baby? Two biting incidents in his soccer career? For cripes sakes, I would hate to be his girlfriend.

I just don't know all the teams in the Prem that well.

But this season has encouraged me to learn more about them. Plus, I love some of the 'old school' type stadiums.

As a Chelsea fan, I was more upset that Suarez was allowed to remain on the pitch after the bite. OF COURSE he goes on to score the tying goal in stoppage time! And what was up with the 6 minutes of added time??!! Not to mention the fact that it went past this even (he scored at 6:45 of extra time I believe). I watch a lot of soccer and there is rarely any more than 4min added.
