Fletcher is gone mate. He spends more time on the treatment table than the pitch. Couldn't even muster 5 goals this season. I would get shot of him, Danny Graham and Wickham. Defoe has worked his socks off but his legs have gone imo. Might get us 9-10 goals but no more.

I seen a pic of fletcher and his Ferrari he got plenty of stick for that, I haven't seen Sunderland linked with many players. I'd say most players will want to know if Advocaat will be staying first.

Yeah, North East fans won't forget that. I also remember him cupping his ears when he scored earlier in the season. It was his first goal in ten years and he did that? Really? We have too many players who are on good wages but not giving much back. I wish everyone had Seb and Cattermoles passion. I even remember Seb throwing up on the pitch because he was so exhausted but he wouldn't come off.

Well, he was a big money signing. 9 million for a kid was a lot for a club of our finances (4 years ago.) he has the physique, he has all the attributes to be a very decent player but in my opinion, he lacks the heart. That is just my opinion, but he seems to get pushed off the ball easy, his touch isn't great a lot of the time and he doesn't seem to have the best positional sense. He leaves the fans frustrated because we get the sense he isn't giving everything and sweating blood for the cause.
He is still only young so maybe he can improve further. I doubt he will become a top player though. Time will tell.

What I will say David, is he has never been a Shearer like player.

People at the time when he was doing well compared him to Shearer he was one I was glad we missed out on that summer we wasted big money on Downing and Charlie Adam while the previous January we wasted 35m on that Donkey Carroll.

Do you still play FIFA? Had a game of the 2v2 against some French lads few weeks back couple of brilliant games.

Charlie Adam seems to have settled into his role at Stoke. Been a big player for them. He wasn't so hot at Liverpool but you have to take gambles I suppose.
