I think Martinez is a solid manager, but I do question his personnel decisions at times. I think he shows a bit too much loyalty towards certain players, even when they're not performing up to par. For example, I love Tim Howard as our golie, but he's been a little suspect as of late. Martinez needs have some guts and bench some players in favor of others when the performance/production is not there.
But yeah, hopefully we'll gain a little momentum from this victory.

As far as your team is concerned, I wish I could tell you there is a light at the end of the tunnel, but there doesn't seem to be any thus far.
How much of the blame belong to Allrdyce in your opinion? Or is he handcuffed by the ownership's unwillingness to spend?

None. It's the team mate. It was mission impossible. I want Sam to stay and get us back up.

I'm really shocked that Big Sam hasn't caused Sunderland to fly, I thought it was the perfect move for him.

In terms of favouritism by managers, Pearson was the same. No matter how much a player founded or mistakes players made, they were there on the team sheet week in week out - especially Nugent and Morgan. Ranieri sold Nugent the first chance he got, thank God but he's also held onto some players I would have been first to chuck. Amazingly though he's actually ironed most of them into great players.

Sort the defense out and i think you will stay up. I'm sure he took the job knowing he would be given funds in the January window.

Honestly, I think it will be too late David. In December alone we have Arsenal, Chelsea, Man City and finish with you guys. That comes at a time when we need to be picking up points going into New Year's Day. Considering we can't even beat the likes of West Brom and Bournemouth I see it going one way.

It's not the first time the fans have been let down. I just hope we can come straight back up, I think if we keep Big Sam we will.

Championship very hard league if u didn't come straight back up you could become another Leeds or Middlesborough.

I think you will score enough goals it's just about trying to keep them out at the other end.

There's been a few clubs like that over the years, they cling onto the Premier League for dear life - some even do pretty well - but then once they slip, they don't just go to the Championship they end up clattering down the leagues never to be heard of again until some big money foreigner buys the club back up to the top again.

Looking on the bright side, we will only be one season away from Premier football again lol. I'm not fazed, I have spent a big chunk of my life supporting us in the Championship (old Division 2) as well as the top flight. It will be a big blow but I'm not going to let it get me down.
