Steedeel must be happy too, as it looks like Villa are guaranteed relegation. So that leaves only two teams Sunderland need to stay on top of now, and if you can't stay on top of Newcastle and newly promoted Norwich then maybe they don't deserve to stay up.

Def not happy mate. The fact that we are getting beat off the likes of Watford at home after 9 years in the top flight is a disgrace. An utter disgrace.
Newcastle spent far more than us also. Our tightwad Director (in my opinion) ensured another season of struggle and has finally landed the nail in our coffin. Sick and tired of teams turning us over so easy. To think, Roker Park used to be a fortress and teams dreaded coming up here. Shameful.

Watford are no mugs though Steed, to have 25 points at this stage of the season is a superb effort from most teams, never mind a newly promoted one.

Yes but it's the same with all teams Geoff. They come up here with a game plan and it works. I bet the team talk yesterday was get the fans restless with an early goal and then sit and play on the break. We don't have the players to score consistently if Defoe is struggling with injury. Fletcher is just not up to the task and should be playing in the championship. Borini, IMO, looks like he can't be arsed. I think he is already planning his summer move. Duncan Watmore has been the shinning light this season but he has much to learn still. Pace wise, he gives us something different.

He could be a good asset in the championship next season. Premier experience etc.. We need more kids to come through. Only Henderson really in the last few years. That is not good enough.

I know you didn't like it Steed but Newcastle's win at Spurs was another cracker in this topsy-turvy league. I don't much like Tottenham so to see it get snatched like that by a team that we battered 5-1 a couple of weeks ago put a great big smile on my face.
