Don't worry, thou can kickstart your season against us, everyone else does.

That makes me laugh, your lot have only been up two seasons and Palace for three. It's amazing how quickly we can get used to situations like this, eh?

I'm still waiting for the wheels to fall off because, well, it's Palace. But until then...

I mean as in, even when Leicester came up the first time last year we were bottom by Christmas. And given our performance last year, if we had even managed to be in seventh by Christmas the next season I would have seen that as an achievement. But Watford have come in and kicked the doors down from the word go.

I hope we can do that IF we get straight back up. Lke I said earlier, if we were already in the championship I would really be enjoying Leicester, Palace etc.. Doing so well. However, I am so invested in my lot, it just adds to the frustration considering we are still getting 40,000 crowds and selling out away from home only to be let down by the likes of Jermaine Lens and Borini (big money signings) It's maddening and I can't relax and enjoy the season I am so uptight. I end up shouting for Leicester, Palace and then part of me thinks after 9 years, why the **** can't we be doing the same. Regardless, I hope Leicester win the league now, I would find it so funny that City, Chelsea etc.. Have been outdone by a team spending nowhere near the same amount on players and just came up. Sorry Tob, Penton Man, D-Blitz, hope you get second place and win the FA Cup! It would be great for football if Leicester won it though. (Forgive me lads)

They won't win it but I can't see them dropping out of the top 4 spots. They've been lucky with injuries as well.

They have to be honest. Very important considering the tough festive run. (Tough for all teams I mean)
Also, I think Vardy is having one of those seasons when everything he hits is going in. If Leicester can stay solid, who knows?

By the way David, I have my PS4 now, just waiting for FIFA 16. Getting it Christmas Day. Will add you but pm me, my memory is so bad I can't remember your username!

Why not? Have we not proved ourselves yet? I can't think of what more we can really do. Admittedly January is likely to change a lot of things, the bigger clubs can try and patch problems with money but who knows, Leicester have surely proven that big expenditure doesn't necessarily guarantee results, Leicester are beating teams where one player in their squad costs probably more than the entire cost of Leicester's first team.

But if money CAN insure big results, then who says Leicester won't splash in January? Surely some big players will want to get onto our bandwagon and if they can help us carry on to victory, they'd become a part of Premier League history. I appreciate that Leicester don't have the brand power of say Man U or Chelsea, but if you had a choice, would you want to play for Chelsea to say you have, even if you're thrown into a potential relegation battle or would you "settle" for Leicester and enjoy riding their high? The answer is obvious for me, but I appreciate my bias.

I just want to say something to everyone who posts in the premier league thread.
Don't be afraid to have a opinion if you don't like a player or a rival club just say many on here who don't like my club Arsenal and that's cool its your opinion.
The premier league thread was a place where we can discuss everything about football and have a laugh and in case i forget happy christmas to all the members who post on here cheers lads.

Well I tend to speak my mind lol. Honestly, I lke Arsenal and all my forum friends teams with the exception (until recently) of Liverpool. There is a very personal reason for this and it stems from a couple of away games where a friend and I had some aggro. We had travelled all over the country previously for many years wihout any issues. Before that, I was just sick of over the top hero worship by the media and that is still ongoing now IMO.
But........at the age of 39, I think it's time I stopped with the negativity towards Pool. A couple of people I have befriended (one on here) are Liverpool fans and they seem like good lads. I was also having some banter with a couple of lads when I was on holiday and they were scousers. I have mellowed towards them and I don't really do the away thing anymore. I only get to a couple of away games per season. I have been a bit of a dick in the past in the Prem thread towards a couple of people and it was all because of bad experiences regarding football. I do the family thing with my season ticket now and I enjoy it more to be honest. Bottom line, I don't really hate any team except Newcastle.

Yeah. I truly am sorry if all the 'big team' bashing gets a bit repetitive for said big team supporters but it's certainly nothing personal. It's just something I'm sick to the back teeth of, and it's nice to have an outlet for it.

That's got nothing to do with it, what i'm saying is i rather we have different opinions on all things football than for us to agree all the time just so we don't upset people that is all.

Wow, who expected us to not just be top of the table at Christmas, but also so many points clear of the likes of City, Arsenal, United etc etc

Absolutely not mate. The important thing is to kick on in January. We were in a similar situation under Peter Reid (second at Christmas) but rather than invest for a top 4 position, our chairman stood still and we ended up finishing 7th. That was with the likes of Kevin Philips, Quinny etc..
To this day, I am convinced we would have been top 4 if a couple of additions were made at the right time.
Leicester MUST invest in January to thicken the squad and add quality in key areas, if they don't you have no chance of winning league IMO. If they do, well, it could be amazing.

But don't forget if u do buy in January if can have two effects, push u on and u get a champions league spot or worse upset the team who have worked this hard to get here and they see a big name coming in on 30 40 50 grand a week more may upset some in the squad.
