The good thing about it is some players seem to be coping superbly with the pressure. Vardy for one.

Well, Man U in town, I am expecting the incredibly dull chants about Adam Johnson again. 18 months solid and it got very old after about 4 home games. Same song every match,. Well, he isn't our player now so **** them. Hate Man U anyway. They have never forgiven us for celebrating when city won the league.

Palace have only lost once to Watford in our last 10 meetings. Expect that stat to be overturned today, Watford are nailed on for it now.

Seriously, they're two teams that are misfiring badly at the moment so it's not gonna be a classic. Can see it being decided by the odd goal, although I'd bite your hand off for a point.

Boy, it's a good job I didn't lay on my traditional pessimism too thick, eh? What? Oh. Watford nab a 2-1 win, as I keep saying our home form is a SERIOUS problem and we've had our left back sent off to boot. Wonderful. Jeff Stelling just said this is the first time Palace have lost four at home in a row for 10 years. Anyone care to tell me the wheels haven't well and truly come off?

By the time we play WBA we won't have won in the league for over TWO MONTHS, that's relegation form in anyone's book. Yeah, we've amassed just enough points so far to stumble over the line but if I'm still saying that with 5 games to go instead of 10 then I'm going to get seriously nervous. It doesn't bode well for next season either, as if we don't get off to a flyer then we'll be in big trouble when the Pardew effect kicks in.

Congrats on the win Steed, I just knew you guys were going to win this one today. Forgot to post my prediction yesterday.

On the other hand, it's incredibly frustrating that we dominated the ball the way we did for the vast majority of our match against West Brom, yet we still came up with a goose egg. Ugh.

Thanks Geoff. It was bloody freezing again but it was Worth it! . Getting hit by hale stones first half!

It was a huge 3 points and we can hope again. Kone at the back looks great as do all the new signings. Brilliant and results are going our way (barcodes currently 3-0 down to Chelsea )

I bought Palace were going to get point. Results have went for you though Geoff. 1 more win will see you over the line IMO.

Look at it this way Steed: I can't see Palace beating WBA (oh good, an evening game on TV, Palace always do so well with those ) and if you spring another surprise at West Ham and then beat us on the 1st of March (oh good, an evening game, Palace always do so well with those ) then you'll be just three points behind us!

I get what you are saying. You basically have the same thought pattern as me with my club lol. However, I do think you will be ok. Let's hope we can meet each other again next season. It's going to be bloody tough, but there is still hope for us.

Not a good first half performance from Leicester necessarily but to be able to cancel out an Arsenal side playing this well speaks volumes about the quality of Leicester and how it isn't just a fluke. We make a lot of mistakes, but we always look dangerous and always punish you for your mistakes. Without Cech this might actually look like a different game right now. Three yellows for Arsenal already, their defence is not having a good day.

That's precisely why it IS a good performance. Like I said a while back, different approaches for different games. Big moment in the season and Vardy took it with the confidence of a player Who is enjoying every moment this season.

TBH Pizza I haven't seen Leicester on TV a lot this season (what a surprise, it's all about da big clubs) but from that first half I can see exactly why you are where you are: the team never gives up trying to get the ball back, they have sheer class going forward and solidity at the back.

As for the ref, I'm genuinely amazed that he's given that many cards to Arsenal and the soft penalty was the icing on the cake. Glad to see the big teams get a taste of what it's like on the other side, although given that Simpson's just been sent off for two yellows in the space of about 2 minutes I think Atkinson's been told to even things up a bit.
