Worrying thing for Arsenal was Barca didn't get out of third gear for most the match. You need a positive result at your place to take to Nou Camp but going out now can only help ur title push.

If you don't win the title this season with a lot of the big boys not in the race this year he Wenger should walk and get some fresh ideas coming in.

This is our best chance yet this season for the title i agree with you but just can't cross the finish line with Arsene Wenger which we have been used to for a long time and nothing will change.

He will have to buy another striker come the summer, Benteke isn't a Klopp player we will have to take a big hit on him.

No, it means we can't change allegiance if the going gets bad. Referring to Geoff's comments about plastic fans and day trippers. Something I can identify with in terms of a few seats in front of us that only get used by daytrippers when Man City or Man U come to town. It's pathetic. Thankfully, most of our crowd (40,000 plus) are pure Sunderland thankfully.

However, my views remain as they have always been. All bragging rights are nil and void when one has simply chosen their club rather than supported their local club. That is maybe what you are referring to?

My stance on that? I still believe that. Ireland doesn't have a decent league IMO, so I get why you guys support the clubs you do. But life is sure easier when you have a pick of Man U, Liverpool or Arsenal?
You are always going to have the bright side of football. You only have to read your comments replying to Pizzamorg to see that your mentality is very much 'I support the big boys' so swings and roundabouts Tob.

If I had the choice, I would probably choose Arsenal. Bu I don't. My city gets my support for life. That's the way it is for me.
