The win today for us against Norwich should not hide the fact that performance was what Arsenal have been doing for years now under Wenger and nothing will change until he is gone not good enough.

End to end aggression and very hard to watch. Might just use the BBC live scores for half an hour and then tune back in if things have improved. I don't want to miss history but when it's like this it's just way too squeaky bum.

I can see what he means though Steed, I go mental watching Palace when there's nothing riding on the game but three points, never mind if there's relegation/promotion/silverware involved!

BTW Palace have won 1 league game out of the last 19. That's ONE win in fully HALF of the season, and there are still two games to go. There can't have been many teams (aside from previous Pardew ones, natch ) who've had such a wretched run in the EPL and managed to stop up.

Thank **** that one win was against Norwich though! If they'd beaten us there then we'd have 36 points, they'd have 34, Barcodes would have 33 and Sunderland 32, with 2 or 3 games left. From what I dared watch, from what I read. Another red card for Leicester. Only one point. Kinda annoying that on the brink of history Man United decide to put on what may well be their performance of the season. Some undeniable nerves clearly set in the players now didn't help. Hopefully Chelsea do the same and block Spurs, if Spurs draw it's still over tonight, right? If they win, we HAVE to at least draw our last two games, which are Everton and Chelsea. Damn.

The penalty was shit. At least Whickham can hit a ball, why the **** did they let Cabaye take it?

Utd did look really good at times, especially in that first half. They had that kind of swagger about them which has been sorely missing since the Fergie days, so it's just my/our ****ing luck that they're turning it on right at the end of the season. And yes, if Tottenham lose or draw then you are CHAMPIONS.

As happy as Steedy would be with the cup final berth, with this Utd resurgence I think Palace could end up on the wrong end of a Wembley walloping if they're not careful. We've been blessed in the cup run for sure but I think our luck is about to run out.

It's still a great day out. That's how I approached our league cup final. Two great days with family and happy memories. That's all I can take from the last 9 years if we go down. (When we go down)

Elsewhere, BURNLEY ARE PROMOTED T' PREMIER LEAGUE! They beat QPR 1-0 and although Boro and Brighton are both only two points behind, they play each other on the last day so only one can catch Burnley now. That game has now become a playoff in itself: whoever wins goes up, it's just that simple. You couldn't have written the script any better!

I don't know Steed feels about Boro but I can assure him that I hate Brighton even more, so I hope they get stuffed and then lose in the playoffs as well.
