I dunno I watched some of his stuff on Youtube and he didn't really look that reliable. Decent stopper at first contact, but he doesn't deal with it well, either punching it back into play or stumbling to keep hold of it. I watched a few times where it was pretty hair raising and his defence had to come in and clean up the mess. I suppose we have the kind of defence for that.

Keeps it lively!

He can't be worse than Lionel Perez who played for us years back. Great shot stopper but couldn't catch from crosses which is a bit of a problem when you are a goalkeeper!

I know Arsenal fans aren't so sure but speaking from Vardy's career perspective I think he'd be a fool to turn down Arsenal. Obviously I'd hate to lose Vardy but with him towards the last years of his career now potentially and the perfect storm of last season probably unlikely to repeat again, at least in that magnitude, he's probably unlikely to get an opportunity like this again.

The reports today are that he and his agent are using this to get another bigger deal at Leicester.
He flew out today with the England squad to France and there is no decision from him on his future but it won't surprise me if he stays at Leicester.

We may be in the off season but meanwhile I’ve been rocking with the Copa America recently in the U.S…..not a bad alternative until the Prem League starts up again….

Man, I watched England v Russia last night and I really feel sorry for you Brits.....that was absolutely gut-wrenching at the end. I hope the tabloids are kind because the team did play well.

Looking forward to England v Wales as I heard on TV that Bale poked the bear with his comments about the English team.

Tob, good luck to Ireland, I'll also be rooting for them.

btw, USA got thru to the next set of matches in the Copa, but really we are not nearly on the same level as England....still, I am a patriot so I support them the best I can despite the comparative lack of quality compared to other countries.

Man City away first game, Chelsea away last game. They really love us don't they? Always the same.

Dortmund star Henrikh Mkhitaryan wont sign an extension on his deal but they are not gonna sell him either. Arsenal and Manchester United have been apparently trying very hard to buy him and he would have gone to Man U had Dortmund been willing to sell him. So he will go somewhere for free next year. Was hoping he would fall Arsenal's way, but sounds like he wouldn't have anyway

If he doesn't want to come to Arsenal then forget about him just hope Wenger will act fast and bring in more players.

Yeah, I read earlier in the offseason we wanted him or Riyad Mahrez, so he likely becomes our next target

Ok, sorry, I am one of those lame Americans who didn't really start following soccer until a couple years ago, and I still haven't gotten used to how turbulent the signing season is. The other sports I follow have rumors of people interested in signing places but not anywhere near the level of this lol.

Don't say that man nothing to be sorry for but many of us get carried away with the rumours but if you know Wenger then don't expect much this summer with signings.

Nice, no surprise there. I'm curious to see what direction he'll take us, and how much of a change he's going to make on the roster. We definitely need some quality defenders and midfielders. The offense wasn't really a problem last season.

Yeah, that's what I keep reading, we are notoriously stingy about opening up the wallet. Xhaka looks like a really good signing, but we need to get a dynamite striker to really put the cherry on top.
