I'm ambivalent towards the Palace result because is a point is a point but our same old problems are there, how we beat Southampton last week (never mind get a clean sheet!) I have no idea.

Any of youse see the latest silly stat for Palace? In the last seven games involving Palace there have been 36 goals scored, which is ridiculous. What I'd give to get the most boring 0-0 draw in the world at Man U on Wednesday! But we have a dreadful record against Utd since returning to the top flight - played 6, lost 6 - and that's not going to improve.

Cheers Geoff i think Palace can get a result Wednesday night and would love to see them do it and to do us all a favour they have a tough game tomorrow against Spurs and nothing is coming together for United at the moment.

I couldn't face posting yesterday I was on a complete downer. It really was a make or break game and now we know we will be struggling over Christmas and into Spring. Chelsea up next and we needed to win that game yesterday to give us a free pass. So frustrating and heart breaking supporting this football club of mine.
Why go there with such a defensive midfield? Swansea have leaked goals last two games and we go there with a three man, weak as **** midfield. Too negative Moyes, it's the kind of decision that makes or breaks a season. It went horribly wrong for us and he has to take the blame. Get Kirchhoff sitting behind the back four for protection then get Khazri in there. There was zero creativity.


Good win Tob, Penton Man. looking good. Christmas period will be the test, get past that and it could be your year guys. Although I still think Chelsea will win it at the moment. Hope I'm wrong.

Palace, I thought that was a very good point for them. Bentekke is important for them and I knew he would be a signing that would get at the very least double figures. Palace won't be going down Geoff, trust me.

Everton, well GVortex, what is going on? I fully expected you to win that one.

Leicester, didn't see that coming. Maybe mentally, they have put Eorope out of their minds for now. Great hat trick for Vardy.
By the way, Pizzamorg, would have been nice to have a message or even a PM last week when we beat you but......whatever lol.

Finally, our new friend OceanBlue. They are holding Chelsea at moment. What a fantastic point that would be for West Brom!

Back to Sunderland i think yourself and the other Sunderland fans will have to wait and see what he does in the transfer market in January should be interesting in how much funds will the board give him if its not much that tells me the board don't trust Moyes in the transfer window and could let him go in the new year.

Ellis short won't want to invest Tob because he is trying to sell the club. I wouldn't trust Moyes anyway, he spent 5 million on Donald Love and McNair!

But i like to see myself how much they will give Moyes in January for players even with Ellis selling the club steedeel because you need to invest with long term injuries and players going to the Africa Nations Cup if he doesn't get much then that will give us a idea that time is running out for Moyes.

Thanks guys. Yeah, things are starting to look quite pathetic, and I'm more and more inclined to blame Koeman for our mishaps. We have won 1 game in the past 6 weeks, and that 4 game winning streak that was at the beginning of the season was 3 months ago. That is beyond dreadful, so I'm not sure how Koeman could look at things positively and optimistically for so long. We have lots of issues on offense, that's no secret, but now we're looking bad on defense as well at times. Just like last night. And our goalie situation is not helping either. I'm not sure how much that January transfer window will help us because it's looking more and more like we need to make wholesale changes. If it wasn't for Lukaku we'd be in the relegation zone right now.

Steedeel, we did well with defending against Chelsea until after 70-odd minutes. I didn't think we were going to get much out of today's away game, but having watched tonight's Match of the Day 2 (I didn't watch the game live earlier today), seeing the Premiership table, I'm not too down about the result today (after this weekend, we're still 8th with 20 points).

Not sure how we're going to do against Swansea this coming Wednesday night. We've had seasons in the past where we've played better away than at home, and others where we've been stronger at home. West Brom have played better against teams higher up in the league, than against teams towards the bottom of the table we've been disappointing. One of the players who I've really liked this season has been Rondon.

Swansea you say? Well, don't let them play football mate. Get tight to Sigurdsson and don't let him rule things. He was the best player on the pitch at the weekend. Oh and don't go there for a point because they have leaked 9 goals in 2 games before we played them. Our prat of a manager thought that would be a good game plan.

Finally a damn win, and a quality one at that. What the hell took so long? Geez. And I know this will sound bad, but I totally forgot that Ashley Williams was playing for us. I guess I'll remember now.

I guess Cech still struggles with headers down low in the corners. Both goals were of that variety today.
