Thank fellas. This was a much needed victory. Sorry tob, but I'm sure this loss won't even make a dent in your quest for the ultimate goal. Steed, it's time for your squad to surprise us tomorrow. I hope they have it in them.

Got that off my chest mate!
First of all, apologies for not posting last night. I just didn't feel like visiting the forum yesterday. And no, it wasn't post-match blues after Sunday's result. It was one of those, as a whole, bad days.

Back to this week's football programme. Later last night, on the BBC News channel I was watching Sport Today (think that's what it's called. It's a bite-size sports news programme. A good rotating set of sports presenters). They showed the Last 32 draw for the Champions League and Europa League. One of the Champions League games which stands out for me, is the away draw Leicester have got against Sevilla, who I think have won the Europa League for the last few years. I'm hoping Barcelona don't win the Champions League this season as it would make it more interesting if one of the hot favourites dosen't win it. I hope Arsenal get a result against Bayern Munich, but Bayern Munich have been one of those European sides I've liked for years (it seems like ages ago now, when they played Manchester United in the 1999 final).

An Albion player I liked (note the past tense, as I'm talking about a West Brom player from a while ago) was Richard Sneekes. Back to the present, and I'm glad that James Morrison is back from his injury. Is Swansea's manager the American manager? Sometimes it's difficult to keep track of who is the manager of which club in the football leagues.

Regarding 2 Good 2 Bad on Match of the Day 2, the one bit which has been up there with the best clips, was the one where Sir Alex Ferguson and his second in command (Hull's permanent manager now) were sitting on the bench. A balloon wafted by, then his second in command stamped on the balloon, bursting it. The look on Sir Alex's face, and his verbal response (you could lip-read it), was hilarious.

And it was a joy to watch Leicester last weekend on Match of the Day. Good to see them back to when they were on form last season.

Yes, the American guy is the manger of Swansea. The ********! . I was sick of him by MOTD on Saturday night lol.

That clip of Ferguson was hilarious, it's always in the funny moments reel on Sky.

Don't worry about it OceanBlue, I had to avoid posting on Saturday as I was on a downer. The guys understand I'm sure.

Bob Bradley is the Swansea manager and he is American he coached in Europe for a while and was former manager of the U.S.A national team OceanBlue.

He had a very rough start to his Swansea tenure early on, but they're starting to figure some things out. I don't think he's a bad coach per se. Only time will tell if he can keep them in the big leagues.

Cheers tob, and hard luck on that Champs League draw. It takes the piss that you top your group for the first time in ages but still get ****ing Bayern München!! So unlucky.

As for Palace, eh. Just heard on SSN that we haven't beaten Utd in the league for fully 25 years! Utd may be shite but they've got our number, they really have. I'd be bowled over with just a point.

Well, that went as I expected. We seem to be the only club in bottom half incapable of pulling off shock results against the big guns.

Huge game against Watford on Saturday. Lose it and I'm going to say it's game over. We need to be hitting 16-19 points by 20 games. Going totake some doing now.

Going to watch MOTD as I recorded it so I will comment on your teams tomorrow guys.

Wasn't wrong, was I? Utd have the hex sign over us in the league, and the beat goes on.

Looking at the table, Palace have scored more goals than any other team outside the top four - but our goals against is at an average of virtually two per game (31 conceded from 16 games) and that's just not good enough.

Got Chelski on Saturday, it's a TV game so Palace will either look like world beaters or deer in the headlights. I'm thinking it'll be the latter: the Blues to win it 3-1.

These games are just bonus games for us strugglers Geoff. It's the teams around us we have to beat as you know. I have every confidence you will do that and seal safety.

As for West Brom, that was a good solid win, they will be fine also. they really are making the most of that squad, which on paper looked like relegation fodder to me.

I know they're just bonuses, but considering we've been beaten by every team from 13th (Burnley) downwards apart from Boro, yourselves and a last-minute point at Hull you can see why I'm getting very worried indeed, because we're not getting a lot of points from the strugglers either. Even though we've got Watford in-between Chelski and Arsenal that's no comfort because they're a tough old team to break down and are flying high at the moment.
