I find him to be a bit too smug. And while I still like Walkers crisps (does Lineker still appear on the Walkers crisps TV adverts?), I love the thicker Kettle crisps.

Yeah, I like them. I'm not ashamed to admit I like Monster Munch as well

By the way, you don't fancy buying Jack Rodwell do you? He will cost a box of crisps and a few cans of Pepsi. Bargain! We will give you change as well!
It's understandable you being wound up, with the situation at your club. I wasn't poking fun at you. I was just bringing a bit of humour into the situation. I thought straight away of Blankety Blank (wish Challenge would repeat the second series with Les Dawson, the editions which they can show). I get wound up by Sky Sports at times, but I'm also wound up by Sky's entertainment channels.

I'm not being ignorant or disrespectful, but is Jack Rodwell a striker, mid-fielder or defender?

Enjoyed this past weekend's FA Cup fourth-round TV highlights. Great to see Lincoln City and Sutton United get through to the last 16 (the fifth-round).

Can they have Gabby Logan on Match of the Day more often please.

Mark Chapman isn't presenting Match of the Day 2 next Sunday night, as he will be presenting the BBC live TV coverage of the Superbowl (it says on the TV listings that Gabby Logan is the presenter of Match of the Day 2 next Sunday night).

Yeah, the more woman, the better! Just keep the ladies away from commentary because IMO, the woman commentator on MOTD was shocking. It just sounds wrong. But yeah, big fan of Kirsty Gallagher and some of the Sky woman. Used to like Charlie what's her name from Sky a few years back. As long as they get back home to do the cooking after, I don't see the problem!

Damn. Swansea are 1-0 up over Saints and we're 0-0 at Bournemouth, if we lose this and the Swans hold on then we're talking about a 5-point margin from safety for Palace. Not good.

Cheers tob, it was an absolutely priceless win tonight and it sets up a literal six-pointer between us and Sunderland next up, win it and Palace are six points clear of Steed's boys.

Good point for Sunderland, I doubt much can lift Steedy's mood but normally I'd bite yer hand off for a point from Tottingham.

Unlucky for you guys tonight, Watford caught you cold which is such a shame with Chelski and Spurs also slipping up, if you'd won you'd be six points adrift but with the game against Chelski to come.

Perfect timing Geoff. Just what we didn't need after a decent point. Palace and Swansea wins. It's got to the stage where I doubt we will even get to the 30 point mark, never mind stopping up. I have no doubt who will win on Saturday, and it won't be us.

Finally, I would be a dick if I didn't say well done. So as painful as it is, well done lol.

I still think this will be a lower points total for survival this year, I think 35-ish might just sneak it.

From Boro on down, it's game on. It's no wonder Pizza doesn't post in here any more. Tsk, fairweather fans, I dunno...

Have a soft spot for Michelle Owen on Sky Sports. Also like the woman on Sky Sports with the Scottish or Irish accent. Not as keen on Kirsty Gallagher.

Can't stand Jonathan Pierce on Match of the Day.

I thinks it's that smile. It's the dark haired girl, right?

Edit: yep, just googled her. She is a cutie, no doubt.

Glad Albion got something out of the trip up to Middlesbrough on Tuesday. Unfortunately though, Everton drew (Stoke City drew as well), so there's no change with the points difference. And with regards to the transfer window deadline on Tuesday night, we only signed two players, the second of which was a Bournemouth player on loan (he used to play at Stoke City when Pulis was the manager).

Yes, she's the dark-haired woman. Looks short in height.

I forgot about other teams this week. Forgive me guys, I'm that worried about my own team and some things going on in personal life. Best of luck weekend.

Oh, apart from Geoff!

Wish we had a discussion thread similar to the Premier League thread, with the main topics being TV and music.

It probably wouldn't work as we would just jump from one show to another and if someone didn't like a show that everyone else was discussing, it would get boring fast. At least with this thread, we are all on the same page discussing a sport we love (and I hate at the moment!)

Why don't you like the tv section of the forum mate?

We've got our own six-pointer tomorrow afternoon with the game against Stoke City.

Good luck everyone with your teams' games this weekend.

The FA Cup fourth-round replay between Derby County and Leicester City is on BBC One next week.

And because Mark Chapman is presenting the live BBC TV coverage of the Superbowl this coming Sunday night, there probably won't any 2 Good 2 Bad on Match of the Day 2.
