Why don't you like the tv section of the forum mate?
Had an unpleasant experience in one thread in particular. There hadn't been any direct or indirect complaints in the previous years when I had posted my thoughts and observations on some US TV shows (the three Chicago shows). Then around halfway through last year one poster (a poster in the US) decided to say something. I checked through the Chicago Fire thread for the posts between September 2015 and May 2016 and found that the same poster hadn't once commented on the same season. Yet they felt the need to complain about my posts.

I later posted in the Vent Your Anger thread in the General Chat folder, and ended up getting a response from a poster with a one-sided zero tolerance attitude.

There were about a handful of posters who were directly or indirectly involved. They haven't dampened my enthusiasm for the Chicago shows, or any other US TV show which I have posted about in the TV Shows folder. I have since started a thread in the UK TV Shows folder (for the UK airing of Chicago Med) and have posted once in a TV Shows thread (for Midsomer Murders), but that's it. I've tried to avoid going in the TV Shows folder (but have checked the one thread, for the series Twin Peaks) as I'm reminded of that negative experience.

There will always be plonkers mate, I wouldn't let it affect you. It's easy to be a dick when you are hiding behind a keyboard. Probably just a case of that OceanBlue. as for Twin Peaks, I am so bloody excited for the new series!

Good luck everyone with your teams' games this weekend.

The FA Cup fourth-round replay between Derby County and Leicester City is on BBC One next week.

And because Mark Chapman is presenting the live BBC TV coverage of the Superbowl this coming Sunday night, there probably won't any 2 Good 2 Bad on Match of the Day 2.
Cheers Ocean.

Apparently (based on Geektown), the season premiere will be shown over here at the same time as it's being shown on the US East Coast (ie. a simulcast, like with what Sky Atlantic have done with Game of Thrones and Westworld) - 9 pm on Sunday 21st May in the US, and at 2 am on Monday 22nd May over here.

But to balance things out (so I haven't thrown the thread off-topic), I think the knockout stages of this season's Champions League tournament starts in a week or two.

Ahahhahhahaaaaaaaaa, just when Palace give you cause for optimism they snatch it away just as quickly, Sunderland are smashing us 4-0 at HALF TIME and I reckon that's us level on points, Steed. I know you've said a load of times you'd rather be in our shoes but come on, all that money spent and for what: we're being murdered by ****ing Sunderland (no offence ) at home.

I read something in Martin Samuels' column in the Mail the other day which made some sense re: Moyes bringing in a load of old boys. I KNOW that's not who the people of Sunderland dreamt of buying but look at it from Moyes' perspective: he knows these lads, he knows he can rely on them in a scrape, and he's got barely two bob to rub together so he's done the best he can...and it bloody well seems to be working today!

There's 14 games left, we've both got 19 points and it's a simple race to the line. I don't care who's got what to spend: this is going to come down to good old intestinal fortitude and Palace are a bunch of gutless wimps thanks to that prick Pardew. But if we're not careful we'll both be left behind, look at Hull currently beating Liverpool! **** me sideways.

Can't believe it. It was clash of the shite uns and we won!
It was surreal, 4-0 half time. Still in shock Geoff. The thing is, we are scared to build our hopes up because knowing us, we will go and get thumped off Southampton at home next week.

Anyway, for today at least I can finally enjoy Match choice on Sky, it's quite a rare luxury. I obviously fully understand your angle but it's one result at the best of the day. Had we lost, it was real trouble. Now, there is just 2 points between us and 15th place.

Finally, I respect the fact that you always post regardless of result. I'm not going to give you the drivel but I still think you will stop up.

Enjoy it mate, and I mean that very very sincerely.

Very glad Tottingham beat Boro though, so as long as the two Manc teams do their job tomoz and beat Swansea and Leicester then we're both just two points adrift from 15th place.

I dunno about you vs Southampton, it depends on which Saints team turns up as even my lot of turnips managed to turn them over 3-0! We've got Stoke away which is a monumental ask to get three points with Palace in this state.

At least Swansea and Leicester both lost, phew.

As for me posting in here come rain or shine it comes with the territory, me being a third generation Palace fan. We get 95% pain, 5% pleasure, but when that pleasure hits it feels sooooooo goddamned good so we keep on coming back for more. Masochism is one way to describe it, but what can I say? They're quite literally my local team (or were, when I lived in London) being 10 minutes away on the train from Sydenham to Norwood Junction (even walked to and from Selhurst in my younger days) and I was born with red and blue blood. There's no getting off the ride now.

You and me both mate. Part of my make up.

Yeah, good results today. If we both win on Saturday we could be well outside the relegation zone.

Dude, if the bottom three win and the three above us all lose then we'll literally swap places with them, talk about squeaky bum time! Every single point is going to be so precious from here on out, I would bite your hand off for a deathly dull 0-0 draw at Stoke on Saturday.

Bloody hate Stoke! Crouch ALWAYS scores against us. Even coming off the bloody bench.

Personally, I'm nervous every time Defoe gets twckled. If we lose him, we lose our chance.

I'm that nervous, I can't spell tackled!

I enjoy reading the comments by you lot in here (not excluding anyone, but there are about 6 or 7 regular posters in this thread. I did notice a post by another poster recently. Don't know if they're a regular poster in this thread). And when someone's team loses, we're here to boost the spirit of that poster or the spirits of those posters.

Glad we got the three points against Stoke, but nothing has changed with the difference in points between us and Everton in 7th place, as they won as well. But they are now 10 goals better off than us.

We've got West Ham next, who I think are currently 5 points behind us.
