West Ham are a very tricky team. I think you will get a point there Ocean.

Glad you are enjoying the thread Ocean. Football comes second to film as my great passions in life so I do post here a lot!

West Ham were towards the bottom of the table earlier this season, but Bilic has turned things round. A point is probably going to be the best we'll get out of the game.

I'd prefer it if we didn't qualify for the Europa League next season, as we haven't got a big enough squad, bearing in mind the amount of extra games we'd have to play (including those before the Premiership season starts in August).

It's still a mystery with our Chinese owner and how much money we'll have to spend on new players. We were too cautious when Jeremy Peace was in charge.

Sometimes it's like treading on eggshells in some other forum threads (there are some threads which are not like that). Despite us supporting different teams, there isn't a 'treading on eggshells' atmosphere.

Well, based on last night's edition of Match of the Day 2 (Gabby Logan guest presented), 2 Good 2 Bad isn't on when Jason Mohammed guest presents.

Tob, another year…..same old thing....no title, just playing with our hopes.
Geoff, sorry for your loss.
Steed, can you get this video about Sunderland in your neck of the woods?

Ocean, good job with Stoke. Good luck with West Ham.

It won't play Penton Man. Thanks for the thought though. Yes, we have a special fan base up here Penton Man. Look how many went down Palace, London is a long way from Sunderland lol. We keep getting 42,000-45,000 every season despite constant struggles. It's a way of life in the North East (also Newcastle, booooooo )

Arsenal could have pushed for title with a couple of signings but as usual Wenger knows best!

Very inspiring clip about your supporters and football (soccer).
Yes, I agree about thee Arsenal, and I don’t think anything will change until Wenger goes.

I glanced at Chelsea's upcoming fixtures and unless they have a meltdown it seems they've got another title in the bag.

I see that Ranieri's been given a vote of confidence from the board. He'll be out on his ear in a couple of weeks, then

It would be madness wouldn't it? Win the league then get sacked next year.

That's the insanity of football. The crazy thing is, remove last season and Leicester are exactly where I would've expected them to be in the league, just as they were the season before last: scrambling desperately to avoid relegation.

Without wanting to open up old forum wounds again - as we all have our own take on the Leicester "miracle" - it's evident from this season's return to the same old routine that it really WAS one of the greatest underdog stories in the entire history of world sport IMO.

I hope Leicester don't get relegated. I don't think they will, but it will be a close thing. They've been getting better results in the cup competitions this season (the FA Cup and Champions League). Their fourth-round replay against Derby County is on tomorrow night on BBC One.

And what's been going on with Liverpool? They were regularly scoring four or five goals a game last autumn.

The problem with Liverpool is Klopp when it comes to the later stage of the match they look tired his training methods can push the players too much add to this how high up the pitch they play their attacking football and get caught out again and again also they still have a weak central defence and goalkeeper.

Yep, Klopp got an early surge from his team but now the lack of longer-term fitness is starting to bite, and having a defence that's almost as dopey as Palace's doesn't help (though we did take one of their centre backs off their hands).
