Yeah, and just as winning the league gets you the sack a few months later it also appears that winning the cup will also see you out of a job, Van Gaal last season and possibly Wenger this.

The cup still worked its magic on Pardew, just getting to the final was enough to ensure that he was out of work 6 months later!

He's popping up everywhere though, isn't he? He was at the Old Firm game earlier today, he was at one of the other TV games last week IIRC, and of course he was there during Sutton's cup run too. Can't escape him!

Complacent is a word I'd use for our last two performances. We've got Tob's team next (this Saturday). We still have something to play for, finishing as high up in the table as we can. After the Arsenal game I think we've got Manchester United.
