I'm one of them. I celebrated the goal not who scored it. As soon as/if we avoid relegation we should get rid of him. In my opinion, he is not fit to wear the shirt.

Damn Sturridge spoiled the day for us with that late strike today. This should have been three points for us, but instead it's another draw. We're becoming the kings if draw again. We could actually fall down to 8th place today if every other big team wins. I'm annoyed by this.

I felt bad for you all when Roberto Martinez took the job, the man doesn't know how to win and only got offers because of the "magic" () that he pulled keep Wigan up.

Good win for us over Southampton that keep the pressure on the teams below us.

One of the few games where I have seen Arteta play bad.

Watch it on match of the day. What a absolute joke decision. Can't say any more at this point. Too angry.

I totally disagree with you on Martinez. He's a very solid coach, and I'm happy he is on my team. Our problem is that we obviously don't have enough strikers, thus the lack of overall goal scoring compared to some of the big teams in the EPL. Although I must say that Lukaku has been a revelation for us ever since he came to Everton.

Yeah I think Martinez is a good manager also...yeah he never kept Wigan up last year but the years before that and some of the football they played.....and of course beating Man City in the cup final, hey, not bad at all.

It's tough at the bottom Steedeel but I still think since there is a long way to go and there are teams above you's who aren't much better, you's still have plenty of hope.

Fourth from bottom at the end of the season ain't a bad place to be and Sunderland are more than capable of getting that,I'm not trying to be funny but ya kinda had them dead and buried a few weeks ago and I guess you would settle for that,it is within their reach so who knows.

I look at some of those teams above ya's and they will drop a lot of points and usually someone drops out of the blue after Xmas so I'd like to think there was enough fire, desire and luck of course to get outta there...just my two cents.

I still think we are dead and buried but the Man City game gave us hope. We have now lost to Palace, Swansea, Hull and Stoke away. To be honest, it just seems our fate to be relegated. Fed up of all the crap and lack of success. Way I feel tonight, don't know if I will get season ticket next season.
As for the referee today, see below.

The thing that gets me is, if that had happened to a Man U or Liverpool, it would have been discussed for ages and plastered all over the news. However, because it is Sunderland, it will be forgot about. That decision has contributed to us losing a massive six pointer. With the di canio mess, the HORRIFIC fixture list that has simply gave us no let up and finally the (in my opinion) sad pathetic excuse for referees we have had this season it really feels like there is no way of escape.

Isn't that the way it's always been with the 'big clubs?
And just to rub salt into the wound, there's the decision involving Rooney today, that was a clear sending off and he stays on,Wes Brown gets his marching orders when he shouldn't have.....but hasn't these things always went on in football?

Shocking weekend for referee's Mirallas and Rooney both should have been sent off both get yellow's yet Brown makes minimal if any contact with Adam and gets red

City look strong if they sort out the away form they are still favourites for the title for me
