just want a striker villiam but I won't be surprised if wenger does nothing in January, what do you think of united in the last few games is the comeback on.

January's not a great time to get the players's ya want,it's the same for anyone,I expect Baines to be at Utd but not until the summer,we need at least four players.

Comeback?no,we won't win the league but finishing in a Champions League spot is critical,not only financially but getting these top players that are required.

It's not as straight forward as years gone past as I think you can put your house on City,Chelsea and Arsenal finishing in the top three in some shape or form so we are only talking about one spot for Utd,Liverpool,Everton or whoever else.

Yeah i'd say four players,I mean a few are gonna go so the squad won't be as strong for a start.
I hope we can hang on to Hernandez,I would probably only keep Carrick,Januzaj and Cleverley from the midfield,I like Valencia but his form has really disappeared.

Ferdinand is done,Vidic is super(if he can stay clear of injury)I would prefer Evans to Smalling beside him but I don't think the latter two are a future centre half pairing for us.

Maybe a new right back wouldn't go a miss either never mind a left back but I think what we could be doing with a certain Mr. Pogba who is on fire at Juventus,a player we let go and is gonna go on to be a world class midfielder.

Edit:I haven't included Jones in that as much as I think he is worth keeping but does anyone know what his best position is?

So maybe four is being kind...it may be more.

I think when he settle's down more he will get his form back and the injuries didn't help.

He's not a Utd player tob,it was a panic buy in the last mins of the transfer window,to be fair he isn't a bad player(nor has he really played in his best/favourite position) but neither was Veron,,Forlan,Anderson,Nani or Young.....

in fairness villiam I still think he will be a key player for united.
I don't know why ferguson brought veron to united when at the time ye had a great midfield with the likes of keane , scholes , butt for example.

I needed that pizza....anyway...I'm not sure where I was but here is a shortened version of what I was saying:

Ya can't stand still and even though we had a great midfield,Veron,on paper was making that stronger,I don't think there was a person in the world at that time thought that was a bad signing.

I wanted us to sign Gattuso for a long time as did many Utd fans and I remember Fergie saying that type of player was going to disappear from the game.

Many shrugged their shoulders and though "what" and indeed the likes of Gattuso and Keane have no place in the modern game really as ya aren't allowed to tackle.

I think Sir Alex was slightly ahead of himself and he should've bought the likes of Gattuso and left Veron in Italy but there yo go.

That is not exactly what I had originally down but I just can't remember it all and I am too tired to care,I am going to bed now,goodnight all and may the rest of the Premiership season be as interesting as the first half...Happy New Year.
