Seriously, what's the big deal with him wanting a HD Fireplace. I think it would be cool for christmas! Opening up presents infront of a fire, not everybody has the luxury of owning a fireplace.

That was my main thing for getting it - for Christmas and Thanksgiving. However I think Thanksgiving is out of the question now since this problem has cropped up.

We have several fireplaces. We will be lighting them. However one plasma is sitting right above it and as much as I think there will be NO problem lighting one of those store bought logs, I don't feel like chancing it.

Up to you. I figured I have already paid for it, so I might as well just keep it and wait for the working copy to arrive. Just extra work to refund and buy again. I don't need the money.

I actually went to a few B&M stores to find this title. Im happy that I couldnt find it after reading this thread. They are obviosuly taking care of their customers. I dont mind the wait.... I will buy it when they reissue it.

Are there any problems with the other "landscape" titles that have come out?

Not from what everyone has posted here. They say all the other titles are just fine. It's this one.

That is great news to hear and the very quick turn around is impressive. I would have picked the same option as well. Hope that disk makes you nice and warm.(which it could if you have a plasma tv)

Here's more information I received today from HDscape. First we had the option to keep the disc, now we must return it and wait for the revised disc.

Plans have changed a bit and what we will be doing is sending you a selfaddressed stamped envelope in which you will be returning the disc in.Each package has a unique code that when received will be entered in oursystem. This ensures that when the new shipment of Fireplace Blu-Raydiscs comes in you will automatically be sent a new one. When youreceive the self addressed stamped envelope you will only be returningthe disc, not the case. **When you receive the new disc it will not bein a case. On our website we already have an option to customers that have notcontacted us yet to sign up for this option. Because I have alreadyspoken to you and have your information I am able to send you a selfaddressed stamped envelope without you signing up for it on the website. Sorry again for the inconvenience and if you would now like to returnthe disc for a refund please advise me as soon as possible.

I received a new dell computer that has a nice Blu-Ray player/burner on it. So I popped this disc in and it works just fine.

So, it's just a PS3 thing. Wonder if it's the company or really an issue on Sony's end with a firmware problem?

The fires look good. Not what I was expecting but they are ok

Thanks for the info. Sounds easy enough although I don't know if I'll ever get around to sending it back. I'm the world's worst procrastinator when it comes to stuff like this.

I just "ordered" the free replacement Fireplace disc from the HDscape website. Very simple and I am impressed so far with their prompt attention to the matter and their customer service.

I can't wait to get the Fireplace since I like their Exotic Aquarium very much.

OK Drink and others that have Fireplace, I got the BD today finally and guess what.............................................. ..It don't work on the PS3, but it does work on my Sony BDP-S300.

It throws up the same error code as someone posted before on the PS3 but fine on the stand-alone.

I also got the Exotic Saltwater Aquarium and that plays fine on both players. I will still get the replacement for Fireplace because it will be used on my PS3 more than my stand-alone. Later

That may or may not work actually. With Chronos at least, Amazon still shipped out some of the defective discs very much late after the 'recall'. I still had to get mine replaced form the studio [RB rocks].

I'd suggest going with the route of getting the publisher to resolve the problem so you know it's resolved.
