You realize this is the closest we could come to "outing" you... But, of course, you'll need to be a wee bit more specific, given the dozens of villas/chalets at the foot of blackcomb.

Enjoy the hell out of your time there, hope the games go well, and, if you don't mind, spend a bit of cheering time on a few Canadian athletes, hoping that this won't be the THIRD Olympics that we host without us getting a gold medal on home turf.

If anyone is interested, a little after the Opening Ceremonies we’re heading on up to Whistler for the Alpine events to cheer on Lindsey and Bode.

Sounds like you're about to enjoy a few days in the snow - have fun

I will be in Berlin on Friday and as promised report back from the Metropolis screening. Unfortunately this will be a ~1.5k presentation (roughly 4:3 on a 2k DLP) so I am not so excited anymore - I would have found a filmout to 35mm much more appropriate for the occasion

And I just noticed that you even got your own emoticon now: that's a good one

....(Almost) Every year at TIFF they do a silent, often with full orchestra. I saw the General that way, Nosferatu... To see a restored Metropolis would be... superwicked.

Enjoy!

Just don’t be judgmental with Bobby.
Like I said, he’s one of the good guys and to tell you the truth, sometimes there is a “Sig” something or other thread that pops up on the home page of Blu-ray.com, I think maybe in the Hot Deals section?????.

Anyway, when I see it, the first thing that comes to my mind is the trigger pull on a P229.

IDK,

He is a member of the Speedskating team, assistant sport psychologist, but he was also invited as a member of the NBC crew. If I remember correctly they want him at some point to be in their studio, for what I can't remember.

You should see if you could hook up with Torsten.

In regards to the emoticon, it’s because Kleist has been tracking my arse since (at least that I’m aware of) Comic-Con 2007 and when I call him on the phone I’ve got to use an untraceable line.

Well, Bronson is out on Blu-ray now and I notice that Casey has recently done a review in the Movies section of the forum.
May be worth a look-see for those interested in the 'genre'.

Actually, the Penton emotacon has been around since way before then. Simply poking fun at your desire for secrecy. Even if you called me straight it'd still only caller ID back to the local switch on the lot

Seriously, if I really wanted to end our game, I have all the information I need, it's just that spending a day doing the proper research isn't fun. While playing CIA is

Did you try a hammer-less double action only version ("DAO") or the more traditional double action/single action ("DA/SA") variety? My P226 is set up DA/SA. The first trigger pull is fairly heavy, about 10 pounds. The pull on follow up shots is perhaps 3 or 4 pounds. The DAO pistols tend to have around a 5 pound pull.

My XD-40SC had a light trigger. No hammer. Much like a Glock, it was striker fired. Maybe 2-3 pounds for the trigger pull weight. All the more important to pay attention to gun safety cardinal rule #3: keep your finger off the trigger until you are ready to fire. Your index finger is the gun's most important safety.

BTW, thanks for the words of support. Contrary to how certain elements of our popular culture paint it not every gun owner is a blood-thirsty nut case.

Big congratulations on a very respectable 1M views on this thread P-man

I'm taking the opportunity to do some shameless advertising for Oliver Stone's first sequel!

"The point is, ladies and gentleman, that greed, for lack of a better word, is good. Greed is right, greed works. Greed clarifies, cuts through, and captures the essence of the evolutionary spirit. Greed, in all of its forms; greed for life, for money, for love, knowledge has marked the upward surge of mankind."
Gordon Gekko circa 1987

Think the investment bankers of today have been living by this motto to the nth degree.

Loved the screenplay of the first film. Hope this one will meet the same standard.

I had no idea they were doing a sequel, I really enjoyed the first Wall Street. Looks like Shia got a role as well. I loved the cell phone , the old throwback brick sized handheld model

Have to agree that was pretty funny.

It's so big it could be used as an anti mugging device.

I've never understood the enthusiasm for Wall Street. It's always felt formulaic and hack-y to me. Then again, I've always thought Platoon was kinda mediocre, too. Maybe me and mid-'80's Oliver Stone just can't hang.
