My comment about the Steelbook cover was simply an observation, not a criticism - I should make that clear. If I were into Steelbooks, I'd totally buy that one.

Don’t even get me started with Top Gun. The shirtless volleyball scene is what made me gay.

I just picked up a copy at BB and it states right on the back placard - 'featurette on the 2015 remastering of Spartacus'.

Gacivory many thanks to you. Quite strange that a '19 release is needed when the second edition is perfectly good. a 4K uhd would have been a nice surprise

I was checking this thread to make sure the steelbook was the remastered version which i already own. I purchased this one to have the steelbook and now need to sell or give away my original remastered bluray.

However while Spartacus is one of my favorite films, i have enjoyed watching 300 several times! I also like Nickelback. ;-)

While I have never owned a copy of Spartacus on Blu-ray disc, I was still curious how my new Restored Edition compares against the old 50th Anniversary Edition, as far as screen caps go anyways. So of course I hopped over to Capsaholic to see what I could find, and WOW! I sure look forward to seeing this inside the next couple of days!

Universal is supposedly releasing a 4k Blu-ray of their excellent Spartacus restoration. That's what I'll be picking up.

The 4K UHD is supposed to be a June or July release so the announcement and pre-order can't be far off. Hopefully

is it true that there are out there discs labeled as 55 anniversary but containing the dreadful 50 anniversary? How can I be sure to avoid them?
