How can it have the original 70mm audio? That's five screen channels and mono surround. What do you do with channels 2 and 4 (Left-Center and Right-Center)? Of course there was probably also a 4 track mag mix (LCRS), but it would still have mono surround.

Wow.
We watched the first half tonight. I have a 120" AT screen, and jeez, it was such a pleasure to watch. I have had the previous BD for a couple years and never watched it, so I actually can't remember ever watching this movie larger than probably 50". What a difference to see a gorgeous 2.20 screen with a perfect image edge to edge. And the movie itself, better than I had remembered. Can't wait for the second half. Thanks a million to Robert A Harris and all his associates involved in this restoration. ![]() ![]() ![]() |
