We're getting ready to sell our house and I'm going to box up the blu-rays and DVD's to store until we move into our next house which could be a month or two. I recently went through and redeemed all the digital codes so a lot of the movies I really like, I can still watch if I'd like. We'll never completely do away with streaming. |

I found it in my local Fry's in the San Fernando Valley just north of Los Angeles. They had two when I bought mine. If you go to Fry's, check closely because they also had one copy of the old Blu still sitting on the shelf.

But what is prompting this post is that I too, have run into the exact same issues mentioned above. Luckily, I could watch the movie even though I have to select the special features to see it. (Really screwy!) On the down side, I haven't figured out a way to access any of the special features. When I try, either the movie starts playing again or the screen just goes blank. Like the poster above (35mmDreams), I also have a Pioneer blu-ray player (which I love), although mine is the BDP-23FD model. I've never had an issue with any other blu-ray disc. ??? |

Mine was "despatched" on the 30th, and I haven't received it yet (although I am from Australia so its international post.) Have you received yours?

I ordered the German Steelbook version and it had the old 2010 Blu-ray in the case! Some recent customer reviews mentioned that this was a known problem with Universal and even provided contact info. I sent them an e-mail asking if there was a replacement program in the works but no has replied.
My choices are try to get a replacement disc from Universal or return it to Amazon.de. I would like to keep it but it depends on if I get a response from Universal. |
