Watched The Backlot Murders last night and loved it. The movie itself is a lot of fun and features a fair bit of blood and T&A. The presentation is spectacular and comes from a 4K remaster of the original negative. Looks and sounds great. Solid slasher flick with lots of humour as well. My only complaint about the film itself is that it lags a little here and there but otherwise solid. The extras are amazing and the interviews some of the most candid I've seen on any release.

To be fair it was advertised as a sale price, and Dark Force did recently warn on Facebook that the sale price would end after Sunday.

Thank you for that excellent review. We are glad you enjoyed THE BACKLOT MURDERS and especially the extras. Our new policy with extras is to try and get the best candid interviews around rather than the standard boring ones. When successful it really adds value to the release. So we are pushing the envelope in that department

Appreciate that DaveyJoe. We had it on sale for a while and did give a lot of warning that it wouldn't last. We still ended up putting a lot of money into that title and if you back out the free shipping it's still not that expensive.

Suplexed - haven't heard that word since the 80's.

My dad is a big Wrestling fan. He doesn't like the dramatic soap opera aspects of it but he still sits through the entire 3 hour Monday Night Raw telecast. He's my guest this week so I was forced to endure it with him last night. Man, I want those 3 hours of my life back, lol. The fakeness of the whole thing couldn't be more obvious - it's like worse than ever. If they're going to have vignettes the least they can do is make these people take acting classes

i like wrestling but i can't and don't watch Raw. WWE TV is rough, and too much of a time investment for the occasional worthwhile match

3 hours is too long - when i watch the bigger shows i skip as much nonsense as possible for a condensed version and read recaps at work where i do nothing except post here
