This is a pretty good film. If Dark Force does this one right, I'll be a happy man.

You can only get this release at the Dark Force store and we have currently sold half of the inventory. We are awaiting the rest of the inventory from replication to arrive later today with HOLLYWOOD HIGH. Stay tuned for more information regarding store reopening. It is also very likely the "Collector's Edition" BLUE MONKEY and TERROR EXPRESS will not be available for wide release as well.

I am so sick of Dark Force's anouncements of anouncements of anouncements. You can't take all their hype seriously. Just tell us when titles are available or 2-3 days in advance. Way too much talk.

Might be a bit annoying but it appears a successful marketing strategy. Dark Force went from nothing to a successful label with minimal funding in record time.

Also in terms of cumulative discussion activity (posts/views), this thread has surpassed the 4-years older Severin thread and is closing in on the 5-years older Mondo Macabro thread.

Posts/views is a bit of a surrogate endpoint.

That could be a reliable metric but those threads don't have posters in the thread who comment on an extensive number of posts, and non-affiliated members doing promotion of the label. If you looked at the activity of the this thread, a few users would most likely make up a disproportionate number of the total posts.

While everyone else is too busy upgrading old DVDs and trying to one-up each other, DF is actively looking for super obscure but entertaining movies to clean up and release. They win a LOT of points for that in my book. Not crazy about their marketing ideas or their choice of ugly boxy cases but I've been pleased overall with most of their releases. BTW, more slashers, please.

Guaranteed because I just bought a copy of the first pressing when they brought it back at a nice discount. That was a big clue, and my wallet overcame my OCD so I bought it.

They sell for $35+ on ebay currently so you could always ebay it and make your money back if you want the MVD release... Unless you are a completionist and want both.
