Having seen it a dozen times, I haven't spun up Gates of Hell yet, but I quite enjoyed Psycho From Texas. It was terrible but entertaining.

He claims for restocks but then it opens again and I see very little or nothing different. My guess is that he's either too lazy to deal with it if he gets orders or just flat out doesn't care. I don't think it's a business to him, just a hobby. I think most of his titles would sell better if they where sold on a street corner like a snake oil salesman since the store is closed almost 24/7. You're better off giving business to someone else that actually cares and takes their business seriously.

Wow, I had no idea Lialeh was out. Will have to get that during the sale, I guess.

Is Black Friday the time of year Dark Force does their yearly subscriptions? I don't think I'll be able to afford VS's this year (plus I'm running out of shelf space), but I might dip my toe over here.

Thanks El_Fez. Unfortunately the yearly subscriptions are not something we want to do again. However, the Dark Force Superstore will be having some huge Black Friday sales and the debut of the 2 great new releases EVIL IN THE DEEP and the much anticipated, long awaited TERROR EXPRESS.

Aw, that's a shame. As a subscriber I found it pretty neat. No worries, however. Are EVIL IN THE DEEP and TERROR EXPRESS part of the subscription as well?

They should be, because the subscription was for 24 titles, and they've only released 9 so far in the subscription period.

Oh yeah, they will be going out to all the lucky subscribers by the weekend. We didn't get enough subscriptions to make it worth it, so we won't be doing it again. But the ones that did subscribe still have plenty more great releases to come, so they will definitely get their money's worth.

Hey Crow, it's the Demon here. I can one hundred percent assure you Dark Force is NOT a hobby for me. I ain't ever done anything in this business, including making movies, unless it made money for me. I mean think about it...I literally have to bust my ass to acquire and undertake massive restorations on cool flicks like the upcoming HUNDRA by the legendary Matt Cimber only to be told I should be selling it on the street corner like a snake oil salesman. Come on...does that sound like a fun hobby to you??

Well, it's a bummer, but I can understand. This year has been a rough one, which probably didn't help matters either. In any case, I'm glad I got aboard, and am looking forward to the rest of my subscription.

Also it's cool to have an update to my Hundra DVD coming soon. Woot.

Hey Demon, it's the CrowKiller here. It seems like a hobby because the store seems closed more often than open, like if you only do it when you feel like it. The selling it on the street corner part was the fact that, since your store is always closed, you'd sell more more on a street corner than you would a CLOSED store. Also (thinking logically) that if you where busting your ass and having major undertakings in restorations, you'd want to sell as many copies as you could, and not have your store closed most of the time. I don't see any of these other labels, big or small, putting in effort to bring out releases, then more often than not, making it difficult to buy anything from them.

...or am I missing something here?
