First one is looking like an early 2019 release. While they had hoped to put the original out first, it's requiring a little more time to get it fully prepped. I haven't seen either film but apparently the sequel is its own beast and stands entirely on its own without having to see the first to enjoy it at least.

Suffered through part of it. Can anyone decipher what was said about Blood Beach? Bill's responses were partially unintelligible because of the poor/echo-y audio.

Sorry about that but the new Dark Force headquarters is literally like a big tomb...lot of echo. Although some of what Banana Man was saying needed to be censored anyway.

I think the costume is what made it difficult to hear at times but you could pretty much get the gist of what was being said. The Demon did his best to keep the conversation on track but Banana Man ranted about other label at times. At one point a slur was used and The Demon had to flex the guns to keep the audience from turning.

Either way it was cool seeing behind the scenes stuff like the other art options they considered for Mirror Mirror 2.

Bill was rambling alot but I always find his input interesting - maybe someone could transcribe the important parts for us. I kinda feel sorry for the guy - he seems like a guy who truly loves this shit but he comes off as a disappointed little kid who didn't get what he wanted for Christmas. He keeps forgetting that if he's going to get what he wants, he has to be a good little boy all year long

BTW, looking forward to Raven Dance - even if it's Part 2 ahead of Part 1.

At one point DeFalco said "Enough about other labels" and went on to the next topic . Seems all Bill does is complain about his competition. "Buy my stuff" he bellowed constantly lol. I have all the Code Red Blu's I need already but imagine what a good Kino-style sale would do for Bill and all those unsold titles he's got lying around.

I actually kind of dig the unflappable Demon DeFalco, I just wish he'd unhitch his wagon from Little Bill.

In for some titles on Black Friday, I just hope I don't get any discs stored next to Bill's shitter. Might have to steer clear of the Code Red titles altogether.

As I recall (it's been plenty of years), there's no connection between the films except the basic premise and maybe the actual mirror prop. None of the cast or characters from the first one return in any of the sequels; it's a whole new, separate story each time, so there's no reason to watch these in any particular order.

Much appreciated TwiSted. Backlot Murders was a lot of fun to make on the backlot of Universal on all those classic movie sets. You should be extremely happy with the transfers on Raven Dance and Chaos. Both from original negative with major correction came out exceptional. Hope you had a great Thanksgiving!
