This is simply not true. Sale prices around $17.49 or less; currently 22.99 or $24.99.

Simply no way that slipcovers like mountaintop motel massacre, The Suckling, Grandmother's House, corruption of Chris Miller , Savage harbor etc . were cheaper than they are now.

MMM and Savage Harbor were the new releases for that month. The other 3 were.

Every sale everywhere is always a % off the MSRP, I don't get that complaint. I also don't agree with catalog. I think VS has a much better catalog than CR.

They've always been totally up front about very recent releases not being on sale. I should have included that caveat. It's based on time, not slipcovers. Their sale is genuine and the parameters are clear; I really don't know why you would imply otherwise.

It was 50% off everything from January and previous. Not the newer titles.

They don't take 50% off, but they still take some off right? So it might be a couple dollars cheaper than now?

Up to March actually. I picked up Party Line and Cold of the Night for $17. So the actual month of the sale and April titles weren't half off.

The Suckling w/ slipcover was $17.49 during the sale. It is $22.99 now and that's the regular edition.

5 Films 5 Years vol. 3 was $19.99 during the sale. It is $27.99 now.

No you don't. You just don't like the label and want to trash them. No proof will be good enough for you. You'll believe whatever you want.

The Undertaker was jaw dropping I couldnt believe such a crummy turd could look.so gorgeous.

What makes you think I don't like them?

They dress them up and have good marketing but the content is truly bottom of the barrel.
I had to go back 1 page to find that. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ People have provided plenty of proof and explained that (like every other label sale) it's 50% off MSRP but you're not going to be happy until someone copypasta's the entire site during the sale. It's not even worth arguing over anymore.

I currently own more Code Red than VS, but in the past year, I have been purchasing more VS titles than CR. VS is growing as a label, getting better titles, and putting out a superior product than CR; I'm sure eventually I will own more VS than CR.

I think there are more gems in the Code Red catalogue then VSs, but VS do a better job and packaging, transfers and extras. They are very good at polishing turds. I wish Code Red were releasing as much titles as they were in the last two years instead of handing everything over to a carnie.

debating the merits of one company vs other is fruitless. no sides need be chosen since both have done commendable work on films that mostly dont deserve it. not to mention those who have chosen sides will never be convinced otherwise.
