Jeff Lieberman maybe with Just Before Dawn (1981)? That was a Code Red title and Synapse announced a Just Before Dawn 4K back in 2022 that has yet to materialize.

Why does it feel like Vince McMahon is going to bust in here any moment and throw a fake chair at someone?

A label war isn't something we need now in this climate of declining physical media. Between replication delays and everything having to be shipped in from China, we have plenty of issues on the plate already. A prolonged clash involving courts could set a lot of schedules back and sour relationships further. I know there's some collaboration going on between labels and it would behoove us that they remain healthy. Bottom line: resolve whatever issue exists and move forward.

The only way to settle this fairly is a 2 out of 3 falls match. No excuses then.

Honestly, I don’t really like Synapse that much so for Dark Force to get into a label war with them would be entertaining. I have a feeling it’s not that easy to resolve an issue like that it could take months. Screw Synapse I’m sorry I’ve never been a big fan of them at all so honestly if it’s their fault then yeah it needs to be taken to court.

Actually you are wrong Driver78. When you here the outrageous details of the whole thing and how the actions of these maggots affected so many labels and other people in this world you will definitely understand that it is very very bad for physical media and everything else in this industry. And if not too bad because I have it in for them for what they did to Bill and Walt alone while they were dying over a piece of crab old B movie that they figured out a way better way to get money out of it instead of just releasing it. Pathetic.

There you go Watership...except its already been clogging up the court system for years now adversely affecting many you know in this business. So Dark Force needs to stand up for those that were weak and engage war with these trolls. We will announce the label and all of the maggots involved on a massive Dark Force Facebook live feed when the time is right (likely very soon). I personally can't stand lawyers and the courts and would way rather get all the guys together in the ring with me, preferably at the same time. They need to be exposed and then crucified like only the dark forces can do it! Stay tuned...

I'd like to throw Dark Force some money their way. Hey Dave, you have anything that's not a chopsocky karate flick, biker flick or no budget sexploitation-y coming out? How about some nice traditional US slasher movies or other horror?

My last pre-order included Young Hannah/Doctor Death, House of Seven Corpses, and Kong Island. I think all of these meet your criteria.

Much appreciated Driver78, we can sure use it. Very expensive new releases and not a lot of money having to go to legal expenses from the soon to be exposed label wars. Coming up Drive-In 23 is quite cool with the gory slasher filled Doctor Death and Young Hannah. The Farmer 4K mega-release is going to be epic. Terror Circus in 4K has a lot of violent slasher horror. If you haven't picked up Hundra I highly recommend it. High production value and more action fantasy than horror but a lot of very brutal slasher killings. Anyway thanks for the post and there will be a lot of exciting things to come as always from Dark Force.
