The recent trailer had no new music from John Williams score (he is still working on it.), but these are the people who did put the music in it.

He's not even on the poster. Thinking he's going to be a major on-screen presence is a mistake, I think. They could have stuck a cloaked figure with a robotic hand, they didn't even do that.

Im thinking this is similar to their marketing for Avengers Age of Ultron earlier this year (Lucasfilm and Marvel are both owned by Disney) where Vision was kept out of all the marketing except for a shot of his eyes (similar to how we just have a shot of Lukes hand), and Vision was only in the third act. So I would expect Luke will only be in the third act of the film.

agreed. However long he is in it; i'm sure we are in for a shocker.

I like that him and Snoke have been left out. Whereas Avengers Age of Ultron was very watered down for me as I had seen everything from the movie before it came out. Imagine if they left ultron out of the title and trailer... then you just go to see an avengers movie and they mention Ultron = a "holy shit moment"

it made the whole reveal of ultron boring and tedious. Like we knew he was coming and was bad so why even take so long to set it up?

I've NEVER seen anything like what's going on with The Force Awakens and I'm 47 years old and one of those folks who camped out back in 1999 for the Phantom Menace... this is even bigger than that. People are even more jacked for this one because it looks and feels like what we all loved about the originals (original cast is huge). I've been approached by folks who aren't big time movie goers worried they won't be able to get tickets... again... I've not seen this much excitement for a film ever. Is there a chance it sucks? Sure... of course. But I'm extremely hopeful that it won't and quite excited for just how awesome it might be. In other words... I'm thinking 'positive'. You should try it......

Episode 1 also set pre-sale ticket records in 1999 too. Still didn't have a record opening. This is December. I don't care how much you want it to make in 3 days, the reality of the situation is that it won't break Jurassic's opening. If anything, all of the pre-sale buzz will turn a lot of people to even going to the theater for the first week, just like it did in 1999.
