Maybe Luke has/had the right idea? Go off and try to enjoy life instead of trying to save everyone all the time?

Or what if Leia knew where Luke was all along and never bothered to tell anyone in 30 years? He's the brother no one can live with. He constantly brings doom and gloom to every Resistance social gathering. "Oh, my hand still hurts." Or going on about their father. "Dad liked me more."

The hero business can be stressful.

But wooden dialogue is kind of the hallmark of these films.

"But I was going to Tosche Station to pick up some power converters!"
Katz and Hyuck did some great polishing on that script, most of the memorable lines are theirs. Kasdan's favorite scene -- Han arguing with some officer over a comlink, ending with Han blasting the panel -- wasn't written by Lucas. Too bad there wasn't similar support on the Preeks.

For anyone who is interested, the book "Star Wars: The Annotated Screenplays" has each line of dialogue that Gloria Katz and Willard Huyck contributed marked.

No, not just a movie - a marketing juggernaut that Disney hopes will help them turn a profit on their $4 billion investment.

It's all just a business

Ha! I made the British press today. People still can't spell my damn name right.

"If you can believe it, the nerds of the Internet have debated this subject to death already. One of the most agreed-upon strategies for getting the most out of your “Star Wars” watching is credited to a fan named Ernest Rinster, who in comment threads has spoken about it with a reverence normally reserved for Yoda. It’s also probably the most effective way to prepare for “The Force Awakens.” Here’s how it works:"
