So sad as Fett was just plain awful with that "Kiwi accent". Almost as bad as Hayden. And in no way shape or form was Jango near as bad ass as Maul.

Because Maul barely talked and when he did he was dubbed by another actor.

Yep, his voice was dubbed by Pete(Peter Serafinowicz) from Shaun of the Dead:

Was at Pinewood this Friday just gone for a taping of Count Arthur Strong.
Let me clarify ,I wouldn't dare wander around there but we were escorted to the studio for the taping.
To say there was a lot of security is an understatement.
I enjoyed the taping but couldn't help but think a few hundred yards away they maybe were filming something.

Wonder if Kevin Smith wrote a fake script for this in case something got out?

Should've been dubbed by Nick Frost.

Default Production Halted for Two Weeks

..and while you're all yapping away about Boba/Jango Fett and who sucks and who doesn't, you missed a nice newsworthy nugget of information:

Sorry to interrupt, go back to your pointless bickering.

Not sure if halting production for two weeks is news worthy but thanks for the article!

Looks like the Story of Star Wars plays on Earth too in the next Episode. I took these pictures on my Flight back from the States to Germany at the Frankfurt Airport. Seems like the biggest german airport plays a key role as an imperial starport in the new episode -- there have just been imperial forces at the scene.
Maybe the Rebelboys hide in Berlin... :-D

yeah but when people in the business like JJ talk about being fans of Star Wars, they are not talking about the prequels. Given how easy it would be to just ignore them, it is interesting that they are using someone so associated with the new films. I'm more worried that they are bringing back Boba Fett - this is starting to sound more and more like a fan film all the time.

This is in line with vader's behavior in the o.t where he's calm and composed most of the time except for a few moments where he can't control his anger.
Overacting is not equal to good acting.
lmfao!

Andy Serkis exclusively talks Star Wars: Episode VII, JJ Abrams, motional capture and more

Speaking exclusively to SciFiNow about Dawn Of The Planet Of The Apes, motion capture king Andy Serkis, expanded on his role in Star Wars: Episode VII, revealing how he got the role, and the role of both himself and his motion capture studio Imaginarium in the production.

“The Imaginarium is now involved in all of the performance capture on the Star Wars projects,” Serkis confirms, “and I’m playing a character in that.”

Although the loud voice of the internet has been quick to assume his role is motion-capture, that’s not necessarily a given. Serkis went on to explain how he came onto the project alongside a carefully picked roster that includes 12 Years A Slave‘s Lupita Nyong’o, Attack The Block‘s John Boyega and veteran thesp Max von Sydow amongst others.

“It’s extraordinary. I grew up with Star Wars and was a massive fan of the original films. I never imagined in a million years that I’d be engaging with this. It’s just come about so organically.

“JJ Abrams and I met, and we just had this incredible kind of vibe between us. He said, ‘You’d fit really well in this universe,’ and I said, ‘I think I probably could.’ We’re working very closely, as I say, in two ways: the Imaginarium is providing all of the performance characters, and I myself am playing a character in it.

“I’m thrilled, deeply excited,” he continued. “Sitting at that read-through the other day was just extraordinary. It was an amazing event; being with the original cast was just incredible. I just think the script is so wonderful, and both the old and the newbies in the cast are just so thrilled and excited to get together.”

Well it's getting delayed by two weeks and keeping the same release date. Should be...interesting.

In all fairness, Maul had less than 5 minutes of total screen time so we really don't know how terrible he could have been.
